They were always going to get paid this month and they will start selling season tickets for next season soon, so I think it will be safe to assume the 16th of the next few months will just be another boring day and not the hilarity that we've become accustomed to recently.

Just seen on that ginger fudd's twitter that Angelo Massone is preparing a 2nd bid for hearts though, that could be interesting if true

The season ticket money (or certainly a good part of it) will surely have tae be kept for the £500,000 payment tae the taxman in May. How many of the high earners have they managed tae shift yet?

His first bid of 4.5m got rejected by vlad and hearts came out and said that they didn't think he was the right person to sell to. Can't begin to say what's wrong with that statement.

Do the one-in, one-out and under 21 rules still apply? Or have the SFA bottled it again?

Jane Lewis@JaneLewisSport#Hearts can sign a new player when someone leaves. Player must qualify as an U21 and salary must be less than player who has left. #spl

Well McGowan's left, so wouldn't be a great surprise if they were to sign a young Scottish international to replace him any time soon...

Sounds like someone trying to explain economics to a dull two-year-old. (In other words, pitched far too high for the yams.)

It's absolutely astounding that they actually complained about this ruling.

The SPL is enforcing the economics of the real world on them, for their own good, in the absence of any common sense on their part. They're doing them a real favour.

The transfer ban will be back in place after transfer window shuts. It's the way the SPL treat clubs that abuse and cheat that makes our game a joke.

Remarkable they have achieved this, just goes to show you what a spineless gutless governing body we have here, at the end of the day the daydream believers will still have NO MONEY AT ALL

At the end of the day, the link below will determine how HMFC fair in the coming months...

I suspect this in the SPL giving them the ability to get rid of all the larger earners without them ending up with no squad at all.

Of course Hearts won't do that, and more fool them...

The players have a contract and why would they want to jump ship

Most of them are on more money than they will/ would get elsewhere

It's nothing to do with the sfa, its the SPL that apply the rules.

To be fair to hertz as well all the wages are up to date which was the point of this punishment, they're still being punished in terms of being restricted to bringing players in, anyone expecting tougher punishments like points deductions were dreaming imo, as far as I'm aware its never been mentioned by the SPL as a possibility?
