This game shows the need for playoffs so badly. No season should end with such a mismatch.

Agreed, I think the play offs are going to be introduced either next year or the year after.

It's quite shocking to see the gulf in class - Alabama thumped us by the same margin and Notre Dame looked every bit as poor last night as we did on opening day!

What an unstoppable force Alabama have been in the past few years. I just hope it's all above board and it is a genuine "good" sporting story.

    Looking forward to the weekend!

RG3 could be out for 12 MONTHS! Done damage to both his MCL and ACL. Such a shame.

I'm gutted for him, I watched him quite a bit last year with Baylor and follow him on facebook the guy handles himself with class, I still think they should have taken him off.

I think Shanahan has had an easy ride from the media. It was crazy to keep him out there for almost three quarters when it was obvious he wasnt right, and in Cousins they have a guy on the bench whos proven he can do a job. Bad management and a lack of care for your star player, poor all round.

Easy to say in hindsight I suppose. I couldn't understand why they rushed him back at all. They're not going to win the superbowl this year, they had a capable replacement and they are trying to build a team around a franchise quarterback. There's hints that there was already damage and yet they still played him. If he's out for a year then it puts the whole organisation back a year in their building process.

Maybe they will sign Tebow as a temporary replacement for next year....

Decided not to watch the BCS game due to the one sided nature of the score but will look up the highlights. If it looked a competitive game i probably would have. A bit sad i saw the score earlier.

i read that he had his knee rebuilt already in 2009? if so the long term future of rg3 might include a change in playing style, still a great prospect though and one to enjoy for the next number of years

Be honest, how do you think GB will get on against SF? I'm not holding much hope.

ive seen frisco have some great games and seen them have average to poor games, bit of a jekyll and hyde team, havent seen much of GB to really evaluate their season, if the pack can protect rodgers enough and keep aldon smith and co. away they should come out on top. looking forward to it

It will be a close game no doubt. Think GB can scrape it but it could also go the other way. All the divisional games look really tough this year!

They have been a bit better at protecting him recently , i agree if the Sacks can be reduced and Rodgers can find his WR's then we are amongst the top teams IMO.

It just seems to close to call for me, though the D is a lot better than when we played them at the start of the season.

San Fran have had their slump I feel and looked as strong as ever when we played them a few weeks back.

Being in San Francisco and with them on form, I fancy they'll win to be honest, though not exactly "comfortably".

I fancy a San Francisco vs Arizona NFC Championship match next week.

That would be some comeback from the Cardinals

Im the opposite of you, i see both away teams winning and a Seattle Green Bay Championship game, and a rerun of the Tategate game.

Of course I meant Atlanta - hahaha

I'm really hoping both Seattle and San Francisco lose this weekend as if we're fortunate enough to get to the Superbowl (which I don't suspect we will in all honesty) I'd rather not face these teams again!

You predicted The Pack to lose just about every play off game in the Superbowl winning year so I am slightly more hopefull now

As with last week, I can see more reasons why Seattle would win than lose this match. However I get the feeling that we're coming to the end of our run and starting to push our luck a bit. I really hope not though!

I don't know who I'd prefer to face in the NFC Championship game. The 49ers will be hurting after we tanked them the other week and I can't see us winning at Lambeau.

I dont mind who you play in the NFC championship game. As long as it doesnt take place in Georgia. Im a huge seahawks fan for the week.

Im worried about how confident i am, if that makes sense Russel is playing like one of the leagues best QBs, Marshawn is in the form of his life, our receivers are making unbelievable plays. We'll miss Clemons from the pass rush, no doubt, but i cant see them stopping us scoring.

For me the game will be won at the sidelines, Atlantas two wide receivers vs Seattles corners Browner and Sherman. Close down their passing game and i think we'll win with something to spare.

Like you though, i dont fancy road trips to GreenBay or SanFrancisco for the championship game, both teams will be wanting revenge for sore losses.

Trenton Holliday - 76 yd punt return after Baltimore's first possession gives Denver an early 7-0 lead at Mile High.

    Positively scary acceleration!

Some reply from Baltimore - brilliant throw from Flacco from around 60 yards to Torry Smith.
