Romanov: "Hearts are living off their own income. I'm not giving any of my money. When Hearts earn more, there'll be more for Žalgiris."
And another...

Romanov: "Žalgiris budget is €10.6 million, but we need at least €2.9 million from fans to be able to stay competitive in Euroleague."
Looks like he's fleecing everyone.

The Clearout Starts Now
Novikovas signs a pre-contract with Lech Poznan.

Not sure if there will even be a fee involved so he'll probably leave on a free at the end of the season.
One of their better players, IMHO.

Google translator
We managed to find out that the target of Poznan is Arvydas Novikovas locomotives from the Scottish Hearts.
Profile Arvydas Novikovas at Hearts
http://www.heartsfc.co.uk photo
President Lech Karol Klimczak repeated on many occasions that the Poznan club with particular attention to the Scandinavian market and penetrating the Benelux, it turns out, however, that closely follows what is happening in. .. Scotland.
On Wednesday, there is information that the first can be enhanced Kolejorz Estonian Henrik Ojamaa of Motherwell. We managed to find out that the target of Lech is also Arvydas Novikovas. This, in turn, representative of Lithuania, which as the portal transfermarkt.de, as early as June ends the contract.
Poznan club did not want to comment on reports of its ongoing negotiations. It is known, however, that will be significantly strengthened offensive. Lech looking attacking midfielder and striker. Ojamaa is fast and strong player, but Motherwell asked for it more than 200 thousand euros. Kolejorz look so cheaper alternatives.
I found it. Very interesting, in many ways, is a player with Arvydas Novikovas with Heart of Midlothian. Litwin is 22 years old can play both in attack and in help. He regularly performs in representing his country and club. This season in 16 league matches on the pitch Scottish spent nearly 1,000 minutes. Scored three goals and notched two assists.
A Lithuanian in June ends contract with "Hearts" can therefore no longer Jan. 1 to sign a contract with a new club. Lech Will it? Much depends on how the negotiations turn out with Henrik Ojamaą. Poznan club would like to rent Estonian, while his club Motherwell want a definitive transfer.

However, it would be poetic justice if they couldn't get rid of players either. All those wages, and no way of paying 'em......

What position is "Help"?
I like the sound of that, I might tell my sunday league gaffer I want to play left sided help from now on.
However, "penetrating the benelux" sounds like a job for someone else on the pitch!!

I may well have inadvertently reported a post on this page. If it was yours then I cite a couple of scoops, a dodgy smartphone and clumsy fingers, rather than any offence taken taken.

- Sell players during the January transfer window, see them weakened until the end of the season, but able to survive as they have reduced their wage bill and unlikely to be relegated as Dundee are so poor. Possibly come back next season, strengthened.
- Unable to sell players as they will not leave during the January transfer window, but unable to keep paying them as they are high wage earners and end up with points deduction and their financial position leaves them weakened, possibly meaning that they are unable to fulfill their fixtures, leading to armageddon, Yam-style.
Which do you want?

Regarding the list of "28" who voted saying they wanted the yams to survive and stay in the SPL... Folks should be free to vote as they wish. I disagree with how those people voted, but I would never for one second agree with them being criticised for voting that way. What they think is up to them. Personally, I don't like the posts that are using phrases like "naming and shaming" and inviting negativity towards those posters. That was their opinion and they are entitled to express it.

If he signs a pre-contract, I can see hertz just letting him go in January rather than pay him for another 5 or 6 months

But Hertz don't have any say in the matter as he's contracted to them until the end of the season. If he wants to see out his contract, then he's entitled to do that. Hertz would have to negotiate a pay-off with money from their 'youth development' monies that the share offer raised.
