SPL should hammer them with a points deduction or fine. That will get their arse in gear. Whats to stop hearts paying all these bonuses on the 2nd last day of January get their embargo lifted, sign one or two players, then start the carry on all over again till May.

On beeb radio just now regarding the non payment of bonuses:-
"Hearts will be consulting with their legal advisors and will be making no further comment in the meantime."
And so another pantomime act is about to open.

This actually does them a favour (in a roundabout way). Their management would be dysfunctional enough to go ahead and sign players (without selling anyone) with the cash raised over the last month or so.

They will do what the above said about paying players then signing a couple then stop paying them, complete farce if this happens

Transfer embargo isnt working surely points deduction needs to be implemented.

More importantly they have been charged with breaking rules 6.21 & 6.22 and will have to attend a hearing in the new year ......... This I would guess be their clear failure to pay paye tax due and also their failure to inform the SPL of that fact . . . . Resulting in that winding up order in early November!
At last the SPL have grown a pair, must be points deduction . . .

Does this not make it more likely that they'll try to keep their current squad together in an attempt to maximize income from league placing and the league cup?

0.7
0.7m.
The shortfall between what they wanted and what they got.
Very apt.

That would be fair and logical but it's the SPL we're on about.

Over in JKB they are raging. They are saying they've raised £1m and they are still struggling to make ends meet!
Saying things like they're playing the players too much - ha ha

The embargo stays in place until at least a hearing. I would have thought that was unlikely until at least the New Year.

I see they're starting to turn on the players for having the cheek to expect to be paid.
