Don't worry Max - I'll make sure you don't miss out with the same record - I'm looking to complete my hat-trick of Patriot teams after skelping TSSF & Haymaker the past two weeks
I will miss out with the same record. The best I can do is tie with the three guys above me - same record. Even if they all lose, I will still miss the playoffs.

EDIT : doh, I see what you're saying, you're telling me that I'm going down this week. LOL. Maybe, maybe not. We shall see. BUT, even though there is nothing to play for I'm still going to try and be competitive. it's the spirit of the game.

I checked through the week and instead of having my team name on the front page, it suggested I sign up for the playoff game so I presumed we were done already.

Ergo, I didn't bother doing anything last week

When does this regular season head to head stuff finish? Gatecrasher kicking my ass this week
    LOL. That's funny.

I honestly thought when I joined this league that everyone else knew what they were doing (with respect to schedule, trades, etc.) but that seems to be less than accurate. Still I appreciate the opportunity to cut my teeth and thank you for the introduction. I'll be back next year!

All the info is right there on the League page. There's a tab for Schedule and Playoffs. We play 14 weeks then the top 4 teams proceed to the playoffs. If there is a tie then it goes to head-to-head (which sucks for me for the aforementioned reasons). If it was on Points For then I would be sitting pretty. Sigh.

There's a consolation ladder for places five to eight so you're still playing for your seeding for that!

Is there? I didn't see anything beyond week 14, other than the playoffs.

However I suspect you're taking the piss. Lol. I'll just need to crush you this week. I see NFL.com has Foster projected to score over 25 points. Wtf!? The Pats have a pretty defect run D. We shall see. HUGE game, should be interfering.

NFL.com has Foster projected to have his highest scoring week this week on Monday night against the Pats stout running D. That just shows you, IMO, how f'ed up the projections are. :-)

I'll bet anyone $50 that he doesn't break 25 points as predicted. I'm out of the competition but I need something to play for. Who's with me?!

41 points for a D is unreal! Cam Newton and Marshawn Lynch came through with monster scores for me this week too. Interesting at the top of the league now!

I had a tough decision on whether to play Roberts from Arizona or Alexander of SD. So, so glad I chose Alexander.

It also helps when your opponent plays guys who are inactive and leaves their D empty. Lol.

So what happens to the people who aren't in the Top Four - do we keep playing or is the season done for us now?

Never knew my boy Shorts was on IA list and thought that the Jets would automatically go into my defense when I traded out the Bengals - oh well a loss for me at this stage is hardly catastrophic!

I dont know why you don't believe me about the consolation ladder - it's right there when you click into the playoff tab!

Well I've really enjoyed it so thanks to Gatecrasher for setting up the league and coordinating that legendary two week long draft

I see it now. I didn't see the Consolation Button, just the Championship button. Thanks for bringing that to my attention as I would still like to keep playing.....for 5th spot!

Although your loss wasn't a catastrophe it's still good to prevent you from sweeping the Pats contingent. ;) I think I must look at my fantasy football more than most people because I saw that Shorts was out earlier this week, it wasn't even a game-time decision from what I can tell. It's a shame about your D not being swapped in for you but it appears that NFL.com leaves "auto-changes" to a minimum, and I don't really fault them for that.

I had fun too and appreciate being baptised into Fantasy Football - my life will never be the same again. If we do this again next year then it would be great if we could setup a time for an online draft, I think it that would be fun. If the majority of the players are in the UK then I will do what I can to make myself available at a time that works for all - we just need to get organised. :)

one thing id like to do next time is play in a bigger league (18 teams?). Be good to choose from players that arent already probowlers and make it a bit tougher

Yep - cheers Gatey. Stellar job in setting it up and keeping us all happy.

You didn't have to go the extra mile and give me 2 out of my 3 wins right enough

Thanks for the appreciation guys, the season is still has a few weeks to go and it seems most have enjoyed it. I will be happy to set another one next year. I can confirm the league are looking at expansion but the addional teams would depend on the demand for this. I have noted 1 or 2 NFL fans not involved this year and also StevesFamou5 who just missed out on it this year. I will also look at a live draft but we'll discuss dates and times next year as the off line draft took a bit longer than i expected . I have to admit I didnt know that much about Fantasy football when setting it up so thanks to everyone for helping each other out. Good luck for the rest of the season (except when playing me of course).

Been great fun! Cheers for setting it up Gates

Been also confusing and rather weird at times too, I have no idea how I have come out with some wins and completely bewildered at how I lost some matches. It is mental!

The winning / losing bit is "easy". ;). Guys and teams have good and bad days. I was convinced that Nicks and Bradshaw would have a stellar day against the Saints but even though the Giants won, those guys weren't as heavily involved as I expected. Injuries don't help. Sometimes your gut is right, other times you screw the pooch.

Most points scored overall but 5th place. Boooo.

    I have Revis again. :-)

I'll make sure I've a full team playing this week!

Cheers Gatecrasher! Would be nice if we could have a few 'keepers' for next year if it's the same teams? Would love to keep Foster, Martin and Megatron remain on the Islanders

I can't believe I've made the semifinals Despite my tactic of trading away my best players (megaton, Andre Johnson, Trent Richardson). Most Pleased with drafting RG3 and Brandon Marshall back at the start.

I can't believe I've made the play-offs despite my team only managing to put together 2 good weeks. I guess consistently average is a good thing during the regular season.

Drew Brees better get his act together these final few weeks, he's thrown 1 TD and 7 INT's in the last 2 games.....

I have to say that I'm pretty satisfied to have been crowned the inaugural Hibs.net Regular Season Champion, despite having the worst 'coach' ranking by quite a distance!

If consistency was rewarded then the tie breaker would be "points for" rather than "head to head", but those are the bitter ramblings of a 5th placed coach. ;)

congratulations mate! nice achievment ive fair enjoyed this as it was my first time having a nfl fantasy team, beats the crappy spl ones i used to do in the past, thanks to the g man for setting it up and im already looking forward to next years draft process while not having the best players on rankings in my team i seemed to score well consistently which gave me wins when i thought i had no chance, and when i was confident, my players had an off week lol much like hibs good luck to the teams battling for the championship.

In the absence of an injured RG3 tonight, I can't decide which QB will get more fantasy points, Kaepernick 49ers against New England, or Tannehill for Miami at Jacksonville
