Hearts have just put on Twitter fedetovas or whatever he's called is saying "I would not rely on one of VRs companies helping us out"

Doesnt sound promising for them.....does for us though.

While they will all be congratulating themselves and feel better that they are doing something the reality is, like Rangers before them, until guys with serious money (or access to guys with serious cash) step forward then it will all be in vain. The amount of cash the fans can raise will, in the overall scheme of things, be immaterial.

In the absence of a "white knight" only one man can determine their longevity, and it aint Gary Mckay or Robbo.

  6. #3035
Was there not concerns raised by the police regarding payment during Rangers' demise? Have L&B Police had reassurance they'll be paid for their services in the near future?

I think the whole thing about one of Vlad's companies finding the money is just a load of auld fanny tae make them look like they are trying tae dae something and tae keep the windae lickers parting with their dosh.

They cheated St. Mirren out of a decent Scottish Cup run last season when they signed Beattie even though they patently couldn't afford the squad they already had.

I love how they are all "buzzing" with excitement and they are all "pulling together" still hoping they can raise that £450k to pay the players NIC and Income Tax that the club custodians decided to withhold!!!!!!

Parents and grandparents will be telling the kids "if we can all pull together, hand over some savings, cancel Xmas and sell the ps3, we might just, with a little luck, pay an income tax and national contributions bill that the club is legally bound to pay". I am getting misty eyed.

I've some solid info that I've garnered over the last 48 hours from a contact I have in Kaunas that will shed some light on the whole matter.

I'll post it on the PM forum after I have a quick pint!

Sorry but I just refuse to believe that bit is true.

If I was working there, I would be demanding my salary for the day and would also be pocketing any tips I got as well.

    Transfer Embargo

Does a transfer embargo mean that you can't buy players or does it stop you from selling too?

If any St Mirren fan is planning on going to this match next week, I urge them to do all they can to purchase their tickets before next Saturday and save themselves £1 or £2.

Every little helps and all that.

They can sell whoever (or whatever) they like.

They just can't register any new players to play for them until it's lifted.

No, but (like anyone else) they can't sell until January anyway.

Update from the Highland Hearts meeting is that SF has stated, dont rely on vlad/UBIG to help and fat Robbo has now suggested they have 6 weeks to save the club. Guessing thats when the share issue application ends. The stories change every 5 minutes.

It was pointed out on KB that they can apply for a 42 day extension if it isn't paid. Maybe one of our resident accountants could explain that one, and whether it's relevant to this case??
