Hello peeps. Haven't been able to get on for a while. Been busy and had loads going on but hopefully things will get back to normal soon. Just thought I come on and have a moan about those bloody Jets .

And by the way. Michigan still suck .
You're not wrong! Was glad we had a bye-week this week so I didn't need get that increasingly typical deflated feeling!

Had to settle for watching the Patriots game this morning as I was glued to Medinah yesterday. What a second half of offensive football we put up and on the road as well! I'm sure it'll be quite recent, but when did an NFL team last put up 50+ points?
It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

I recall us putting 56 past them (I think?) but that was back in 2007.

It must be a pretty exclusive club TBH?

Yup. I need a backup QB for week 7 and I don't think I need to hold onto Vick AND Manning so hoping I can get some decent trade value out of him.

    Here comes the sales pitch....

Despite his rough start he's still managed to deliver some decent fantasy points. He's not an elite QB but there aren't many in the league and I am not looking for a one-for-one swap for an elite QB.

I proposed a trade for you if you want to check it out. It should appear somewhere on your screen on the My Team page.

Assuming the league votes Yay then I have done a deal re: Michael Vick. Is anyone interested in Fred Jackson? I think I am OK at RB right now but I need a WR soon. I'll add him to my trade block on nfl.com so either make me an offer over there or here.

When you accept a trade it says it's pending until such-and-such a date. Is that just to give people in the league time to give approval or is the trade pending till the date regardless? If it's down to the league then hopefully people will start approving trades sooner rather than later so I can set my line-up....I'm going away for the weekend and cannot guarantee I'll have access (but I suspect I will).

    TRADE RULES

The rules for trades in NFL-Managed Leagues are as follows:
    • There is no maximum number of trades that owners can complete in a season.
    • If a trade is not popular in your league, there is a two (2) day window for other owners to review any potential trade and overturn the transaction.
    • Pending trades appear on all owners’ Team Pages where owners can click “View Trade” and vote FOR or AGAINST the proposed trade from happening. Trades are overturned if a majority of owners disagree with the swap.
    • Once your trade clears the review process, the trade will be completed and the players involved in the trade will switch rosters and be available to start for their new teams.
    • An important note: if you accept a trade on Friday afternoon, your review process will last until 48-hours from the time you accept the trade. In other words, the players that you accepted will not necessarily be available to start for your team that Sunday. Please keep this in mind when considering trades and how they will affect you weekly lineup.
So if you guys can vote YES (or NO) then that would be smashing.

In that case, prepare to be surprised a second time. ;)

If those NFL predictions are to be trusted, and I don't think they are, then I am going to get positively creamed this week.............and not in the good way!

The predictions mean nothing, theyve been wrong more often than not this season.

That's what I thought too, but I didn't check. It's just very distracting to see your team being down by 50 points right at the start even though you don't agree with the predictions.

BJGE is not predicted to have a good day against the Fins and that's most likely because they give up very few yards to the running game. But look at who they've played and how well those teams run the ball - except for Houston in week one. I'm predicting he'll overcome his fumbling issues and show up against Miami. Fingers crossed. ;)

Thanks for the info. Seems like the trade will go through in two days unless it's voted NO. doesn't seem like the trade can be rushed through by asking people to vote YES, since no such button exists. :-)

    With respect to NFL predctions

For last night's game, here are the predictions of the players in our league versus their actual fantasy points. For the record, i picked STL to win in my Yahoo league. :)

Danny Amendola predicted to score 15.4, got 4.4 (injury certainly put a dent in that!)
Larry Fitzgerald predicted to score 16.9, got 9.2
Cards D predicted to score 7, got 4
Andre Roberts predicted to score 12.4, got 4.2
Zuerlein predicted to get, and scored, 7 points

Let's hope the NFL predictions for my players are on the low side, otherwise I might end up scoring negative points!

Yeah, that's what I have too. I guess it's just one of those things you have to live with....waiting. I thought it could be "rushed" through if people voted in the affirmative. I guess not. It's not a huge deal, but it could have been if one of the players I was trading for was playing last night (which would have been poor planning on my behalf).

Roddy White who has an average score of 14.25 so far this season is playing against the team who have given up the most points to wide receivers so far this season and has been predicted to score 6.70 points....

Antonio Gates has an average score of 3.1 so far this season is playing against the team who have given up the least number of points to tight ends so far this season and has been predicted to score 17.40 points....

The predictions are crap. Or they better be anyway, I'm predicted to lose by 30 points....

Shame no games made it onto ESPN America this evening. However, I fully understand the reason why. Roll on 11pm and let's go Tigers
