Having just looked at the squad on the official site it's clear we need to stop thinking about signing keepers and defenders but 2 physical midfielders and another striker or 2. We currently have Wotherspoon, Claros, Stevenson, Sproule, Stanton and Cairney available as first team midfielders for next season and its the same old story, all light weight, powder puff players that will get run all over next season and won't command a game, as like last season. 2 big, physical midfielders is surely the priority after watching the midfield in current seasons.

As for up top, hope Doyle comes into his own this season but I have my doubts and we can't rely too heavily on the 19 year Caldwell. Therefore another striker or 2 is needed..... and Griffiths needs to be one of them!!

Michalik knocked back our offer so he's been ruled him out.....for now.

Definitely not a wealth of knowledge SMAXXA, I've been correct on no more than a handful of times so my accuracy ratio is right down the Gary Glitter.

I get to hear of things that Hibs and other clubs have in the works from the realm that I work in (professional services) so I know one or two FDs of clubs who talk quite openly sometimes and a lot of other professionals who have involvement in the aspects of deals and potential deals and so on.

Revealing any of these 'sources' is literally gross misconduct/loss of revenue style stuff for the firms involved so I have to watch my step very closely. This is why when it comes to source naming, I don't do it. I just type things like 'led to believe' or 'I hear we could be' etc. It's either that or don't post, both have their merits!! (I was once told to 'put my house' on Mixu suceeding Mowbray.I chose not to post that, thank goodness)

As I say, most of what I hear may well be correct initially but doesn't come to fruition so I know more about what we're trying to do than what actually ends up happening. In terms of what is finalised, there are several posters on here that will know sooner than me.
