My thinking entirely. McCall's comments are quite stark "far more by another club", if that club is Hibs this is really interesting. It would then appear that Hibs are preparing to offer more to get more (hopefully)...

If this is true my expectation is a "streamlined" squad of players earning on average more than has been the case in recent seasons with the caveat that we may lack a bit of strength in depth to maintain our wage budget.

Hopefully some of the younger boys currently at the club will be getting primed to act as back up to the more established & experienced players arriving.

This is a promising start, I just hope the momentum is maintained and we dont fall flat our faces (again)...
We had no strength in depth with a large squad this season anyway. They were all Tom Kite.
