Let me say it again, seeing as it was hard to understand.

100 to Maka. Poll closed. Must be all these hearts fans I guess.
    Are you demanding a recount?
Not everyone agrees with you. Just accept it and move on

You have to take things less literally In the context of general football parlance 'staying on your line' mostly relates to 'keepers coming for crosses.
Haha, yeah fair enough. Was mostly just being a pedantic ****.

Like you, I did notice that Stack seems to be slow off his line for crosses but if anything a bit rash when it comes to through balls. Stack's difference in attitude between these two similar areas of his game is weird. Maybe not confident of his physical presence when coming out and fighting for the ball in a crowded penalty area?

Are Hearts fans allowed to vote on these polls?
Aye, I'm sure they're ecstatic with the 4 goals in 6 and a half games against him (including his 3 clean sheets at Tynecastle).

Cheers. I was thinking the same but someone said they weren't allowed to vote in polls. They must be "undercover" - it's a pity it's not a public poll so we could weed them out.

Or you could always just accept the majority of people prefer Maka.

Especially when half* of those goals were made quite memorable for them.

*I can't remember the other half so I assume they weren't his fault?

Could it be a case of an undercover Maka?

I could but that wouldn't be true. Just over half the folk that bothered to vote prefer Maka but what I find is that the real majority don't bother voting.

How can anyone compare the 2 at the moment anyway? It's a crazy poll with a crazy result.

So you have asked every single Hibs fan what they prefer?

No, that would be more ridiculous than the question you just asked me.

I think we have two decent keepers
    Voted Maka though.
Agree with you there, for me i just want a solid keeper in goal for us and so far leaning towards Maka

What about Stack's wander out his box to be rounded and then his total flap at the death??

Those would have been added to the list for Maka even if he kept a clean sheet.

    Stack. Every single time.

Stack's a safe pair of hands, steady and unspectacular whilst Maka, albeit no doubt possessing more potential, has too many kamikaze moments and that has to be weighed up against his ability to make some blinding saves.

However, I'll support whoever has the jersey.

Clearly though, does anyone know the difference between Rohypnol and Tango?

You know when you've been Tango'ed.

There, that's my contribution to this thread done and dusted. Okaythanksbye.

Jury Still out for me, I voted for Maka as pre season with the new goalkeeping coach I thought Maka looked a lot better.

Prefer a goal keeper to come for corners but that said you can't drop him just now as first blank sheet in the league so as long as he is doing it in training and not mis-behaving he has to stay in goal,

I know that goes against my vote but there you go

And a very long list it is, that is why it has to be Stack.

Has to be why? He's only had a few games and looked pretty poor in all of them.

Maka has a lot more good games than bad.

Has Stack made any mistakes that have led to us losing goals/games??

As you have stated he has only had a handful of games behind a more than shaky defence, unlike Maka who has performed, on the whole, poorly behind a reasonable one IMHO.

He coughed up the ball and gave away the corner for their 3rd last night

To be fair Maka gets criticised for a number of things that don't result in goals, very few of his perceived errors have led to goals on the whole.

Stack has had quite a few moments in the games he has played so far where he has been very lucky that goals haven't followed from his mistakes.

He is making them though and many led us to believe he was just a safe pair of hand and clealry better than Maka. That's not the case in any way.

He has not made any mistakes that have led us to losing goals/games, so for that fact alone he is better than Maka. We all know that if a goalie makes a mistake it is usually worse than say a midfielder, but in Maka's case quite a few of these have been disasterous, whereas none of Stacks have...so far. Plus Stack has had only a dodgy defence in front of him whereas Maka, on the whole, hasn't. I shudder to think what Dodgy Maka and a dodgy defence would equal.

Stack didn't have a great game last night, his kicking was very bad!

He hasn't made any mistakes that have led to goals yet so I still have a lot of faith in our current number 1!

I also have faith in Maka to push him all the way and I think Maka and Stack will be right at it all the way until May!
