Cowan’s run came to an end when Gordon Juke Box Durie was sold to Chelsea for 325k in May ‘86
As another poster pointed out Jukebox was a fantastic player whose power and pace laid on a lot of goals for Cowan
Stevie Cowan also returned the favour by using his physical presence to create space for the Jukebox in the box
Gordon Chisholm is probably the closest that side had to a Bobby Thomson type player
