Apparently his 'fee' was a fish supper and a bottle of cream soda!

A non football mate of mine did some genealogy during Covid and said he discovered his grandad played for Hibs straight after WW1 but just for one or two games. Adam Fleming.? I checked all my books but info and pictures are difficult to find, mainly because hardly any were taken at that time.
Knew the year by the Hibs shirt though couldn't remember king Kenny playing in sneddons testimonial . Alan Sneddon signed for us in 1980 I think and in 1981 something unusual happened to him that year , anyone remember what it was ?
A bit on Adam Fleming here though am guessing that you may have already seen this. Also played for Dundee and Bathgate.

According to this, Celtic never gave Alan Sneddon the medal he was due.
I was not sure if Joe turned up for that game, or may be getting mixed with King Pats testimonial.
Was at the game and just remember Kenny D stayed in the centre circle spraying passes around to willing runners and Keith got his 4 goals from his passes, true to say that class is permanent.
Eamonn Bannon
One appearance 0-2 loss at home versus Motherwell
Remember it well
Thought it was more tbh

Robert Pires
Maybe my old memory playing tricks on me but seem to remember an away game against Berwick Rangers a long time ago where we had a left sided player who broke his leg on his debut. All the buses were met by the English polis and we were escorted into the ground.
Fitbastats for Hibs stuff is pretty good. He's mentioned, 3 appearances.

Derek Whiteford
George McNeill
Dermot McCaffrey
Mark Venus
Jonathan Spector
Found a bit more now that someone mentioned his name.
It was Iain Hendry broke his leg in the 1st minute of his debut away to Berwick 31/01/81.
Can’t remember if he was a trialist or on a short contract but the club either gave him a contract or extended his contract to cover his recovery.
He came on as a sub on 06/03/82 in cup game against Patrick Thistle and then headed back down south
Brian Kerr. Scored the winner at Tynie first game of the season then never seen again
Thorten Schmuggee ?
David Grof
Darnell Johnson
Lillian Martin
Faycal Rherras
Juna Riipa
Nathan Wood
Tom Stevens
There's a lot of names on here that would struggle to be called notable.
Dermot McCaffrey sent off on his debut versus The Sheep at Pittodrie
Doesn’t make him a bad person :greengrin
Not ‘one game’ game players but certainly in recent years, the two most influential ‘short term’ players were The Polar Bear (for obvious reasons) but imho and even more so, the 4 week loan spell of Kris Commons in Dec ‘16/Jan ‘17 was the boost we needed to kick on and get promotion. 5 games but importantly 2 game winning goals. The winner against Falkirk would still be travelling in orbit had the net not got in the way!! LOL
Stuart McCaffrey made his Debut midweek at parkhead left for Aberdeen at end of season
