Went in to my POV account this morning and it states that unfortunately POV is not allowed in England due to UEFA/FIFA rules. Never seen this before as I’ve been using it for ages now. Has it changed does anyone know

I hope that's not true, I have watched more Hibs games recently than for many years!
major blow if its right...:boo hoo:
edit. it's true.
*******s
Really pi$$ed off with this.
Getting a VPN will sort you out.
Must be an England thing. Never used a virtual network before. Any idea which is best to use for free.
Just a thought in trying to be helpful folks. If you have a season ticket you’ll still be able to log in to Hibs TV and watch.
Don’t have a season ticket unfortunately. Found PPV really brill, virtually watched every match this season

I was meant to be at the game this week but had to cancel.
No PPV is annoying!!
Downloaded express vpn but it still doesn’t allow me to use the PPV. I must be doing something wrong I guess. It’s my iPad and the vpn sign is showing on the top right of my iPad. Frustrating to say the least
Using secure vpn. Not sure if it is good? let me in and to buy screen.
Yes changed to Ireland, United States and another but it still comes up when I go in to my account showing the uefa message. I’ve even opened a new account and it’s still the same. Any help would be appreciated
I downloaded it from the App Store but I’m sure that shouldn’t make a difference.
Mozilla Firefox VPN $4.99 a month
Do VPN's still work on HibsTV? Didn't last time I tried one.
Don’t believe a vpn works on ppv. Just read this in the terms and conditions as well. If anyone has actually got it to work I’d be grateful knowing how pls
o (h) use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) service or similar to mask or otherwise hide or modify your actual location for the purposes of viewing the Relevant Home League Match outside the Territory; and (i) distribute or publish any data or information in relation to the Relevant Home League Match.
I set it up, deleted all history, cookies and whatever. Closed all browsers etc.
Logged back in and it seemed to let go to buy it screen.
Not actually bought it until tomorrow.
Just set it up on my iPhone and it works. I’ll pay for it tomorrow. I’ll delete all the history etc from my iPad and see if that solves the problem. Thanks
Scottish clubs/spfl should just ignore this. Let them try to take clubs/spfl to court the publicity alone will embarass the English FA. This is a decent source of revenue for small Scottish clubs. Time Scottish authorities grow a pair.
My only worry is will be paying with normal debit card which is registered at English address.
No idea how it all works, but, I bought a 30 quid Firestick from Amazon and I pay 80 quid a year for absolutely everything, all Scottish/english football, rugby, F1, films, series etc etc. Loads of foreign channels and hundreds of US channels, sports, etc.... works out as less than 10 quid a month. Very happy.
I want Hibs to have my 15 quid though. Just want to watch the game.
It is also illegal though, so you have to balance the risk of getting caught into the cost. Unlikely to get caught, but they do make an example of the people they do. Your IP address also gives them a map to find you.
So many people do it that the vast majority never get into bother, but the small % that do get absolutely fleeced
It is. When we were in the EU however, there was arguably a loophole that meant you could watch say Greek coverage and bypass sky, that is now closed.
If you have not paid the official distributor for access and you have managed to stream it, thst has been stolen. Examples being people who can get hibstv heartstv etc on sticks or even more so with sky sports etc.
Typically, it's the people selling the modified devices and subscriptions who get charged, but it's not unheard of for individual users to be charged and fined too.

Gutted, not able to travel up anywhere near as much as I'd like to get to games and it has been brilliant being able to watch the Hibs so regularly again, don't think I've missed a game since the league shutdown.
Must've been a decent wee earner for the club too, it's a shame.
Back to Hibs TV audio and avoiding scores for games on Alba it is.
True, but using a VPN for this purpose is definitely illegal in the UK. VPNs aren't illegal, but uses for certain purposes are.
For clarity, I don't care what people chose to do, but it worries me when someone says "I use this thing, dont know how it works, but it's great". These people don't know that they could get into bother down the line.

As if by magic. Daily express, apologies, but the police are cracking down on folk watching streaming services illegally.
You can watch this one as not a Saturday game.
Unfortunately, I am on a date with the cougars so will miss it.
I thought it was only illegal to stream it (ie those you buy it from) - but not illegal to watch it. Hence that link that’s been put up, they’ll crack down on those who create the stream, and just shut it down so the rest can’t watch it. The risk is in losing your money.
