I think the culture war aspect will lead to the race tightening as the "tribes" clump together but, in the end, I think Biden will win because he doesn't engender anything like the knee jerk negative response that Hillary or Trump himself do.
There is also potential for a black swan. I would be frankly astonished if Trump doesn't license a Covid vaccine the week before the election whether it works or not. :rolleyes:

In Trump's case I don't think he set out to do it but there's people advising him that have gently nudged him in that direction and now he's too far to back out.
