Banderson doing his usual in the EEN, quoting Hearts people verbatim with no context, analysis or questions.

Today, Stendel is waxing lyrical about the young lads he has drafted into their first team squad. Fair play, but it sounds awful familiar to Levein banging on about the world class young talent they have (before sending them out on loan).

High risk strategy, relying on kids to dig them out of a relegation scrap. Hamilton and St Johnstone in particular will relish the opportunity to teach them what being a pro footballer is all about.

Have I seriously read this correctly - £41M release clause was in his contract and he's been ***** ever since.

£41M RELEASE CLAUSE, what the actual hahahahahahahahaha Liverpool signed Mo Salah for 42M Euros. You couldn't make this up.

Charalamos Mavrias was once viewed as a potential wonderkid, as was Ryan Gauld.

Anyone remember anything of note of either of their times at Hibs?

They are due a win in the league, surely? I wouldn’t read too much if they finally manage to win a game in the league, especially with them having rangers on Sunday.

Depends what you mean by *****, if you mean goals scored yes he's not been as prolific since his position was switched from striker to left winger. He was a striker when Stendal worked with him.

The guy they have signed has had several disciplinary issues at previous clubs but he has scored goals while developing.

The constant theme about the new player is his own attitude - supposedly talented but whether or not he uses it is another question.

He could well score goals for them in the next few months - well be interesting to see. He did have previous fitness issues so I’m sure even if half fit and given a chance to score he may put them away at this level, but if they are going to continue to press high he will need to give more without the ball.

I thought they would have been thrashing themselves more about the German/Kosovan, but it seems quite muted compared to the anticipation before he arrived.

Maybe because he has only committed to half a season in case things go badly wrong he can make a sharp exit.

Indeed.

My yam associates reckon we will be lucky if we pick up a player with at least half this new boys ability. He is better than anything we have and is worth €50million

of course he is , he is beyond awesome. just a bit surprised that he was mutually consented by his previous club, surely they could have recouped a paltry couple of million without any fuss

I listened to a United game on sportsound once – Derek Johnstone and Archie MacPhesron were commentating.
