England have best squad - i have no doubt in that. But in common with the top teams a lot of their top stars have looked knackered.
Along with how Var is being used (not the technology in its self) the amount of games the top players are being asked to play is ridiculous and leading to a poorer product. playing for 11 months of 50-65 games for some just leads to what we have seen often in these games.

Winning the Euros would obviously be massive for England but the World Cup is different level especially outside England.
England men like the women’s team have invested huge amounts of money into the set up so wouldn’t be a total surprise.
Meanwhile Scotland are stuck with Che Adams who wouldn’t even get into England B team.
Scottish football will never fully progress till the SFA changes.

Yeh, international football doesn't do it for me these days (although I did quite enjoy watching the recent women's Euros and World Cup with my daughter) so I can't claim to have watched the games, but on paper I find it hard to see anything objectionable about the players or manager compared to England sides of yesteryear.Quote:
