Obviously his performance in these interviews is appalling, but I have to say, something deep inside of me actually respects him for facing up to some sort of scrutiny for a change.

I think it's more likely that he is doing it because he is an arrogant ******* and he believes he is the cleverest but in the world. I can imagine that his advisers are tearing their hair out about it. They surely must be telling him not to do itQuote:

What also must be remembered about the Spanish flu though is that medicine at that time actually didn’t know what a virus was so it’s rather hard to piece it all together in terms of what actually happened.
And it didn’t come from Spain. I’ve read about the troops being carriers. Makes sense, high concentration of men, crammed together exhausted and not the best of condition. Ripe for disease.Quote:
