Another late to the party but I've finished Ray Donovan including the movie. Absolutely loved it and I'm gutted it's finished. Totally invested in all 4 brothers and the dad was just off the charts nuts! Eddie Marsan stole the show. He acts everyone else off the screen in every scene he's in and I just couldn't help but love Bunchy.

At the same time as I've been watching this I've been listening to The Rest is History Podcast series about the murder of Franz Ferdinand , his wife and the subsequent events that lead to the breakout of WW1 .
It was strange to hear about real events ibeing mentioned in both fiction and factual programmes at the same time
Until I kill you, drama based on the true story of Delia Balmer's life with serial killer John Sweeney. I just watched it on the stick but, I think it's being shown on STV starting tomorrow night. Anna Maxwell Martin is very good in it.
Just finished the final season of Hightown, ridiculously over the top but, great entertainment.
Started the new season of FROM. Hoping it starts to give some answers and doesn’t go down the route of Lost which I gave up on.
Anyone watched Dark Winds? Watched the first episode and it was decent. A little bit bit of a True Detective vibe with hinting at a supernatural element.
Just watched the first episode of “ Fear the walking dead “ and enjoyed it .
Until I Kill You. Very good. Great performance from Anna Maxwell Martin.

I gave up on it at the start as well I have since gone back and watched it all, I think From is heading in the same direction without giving anything away, probably best to be watched as a binge rather than week to week as you want answers rather than a drawn out process full of questions twists and turns at least when binging a full series your aware your going to get that the quicker you watch the showQuote:

Semi promising start that soon descends into a bit of a farce. Sean Harris as the lead protagonist is very good but apart from that I wouldn’t bother. So many plot holes and ludicrous events where somehow two people are continually sent to resolve a nationwide terrorist plot by themselves…I could go on but you get the drift. File under pretty guff.
Tulsa King. Paramount.
All a bit silly plot wise but somehow pretty watchable. Some good humour, doesn’t take itself too seriously and worth it just for Sly’s suits alone. I enjoyed season 2 as much as I did season 1 which was quite a lot.
Im really enjoying Tulsa King, like you say theres some good humour but its not one of those slow burners as there twists and turns throughout as Sly assembles his Motley crew 😃Quote:

Young lad who played for Worthing Fc youth teams and finally making it onto the bench of his beloved club, unfortunately his career was cut short in a car crash on the way back from training one night that was to leave him paralysed from the waist down.
The club were going to fold with players not getting paid etc so George bought the club with his compensation and turned the club around, a really good watch.

I’ve discovered a new favourite thing to do on a hangover Sunday. Gold show back to back episodes during the day of classic Only Fools and Horses. Some old episodes I forgot about but still have me crying with laughter to this day! Or should that be cwying 😂

Finished season 2 of the Diplomat on Netflix, what an ending!!!
Started watching Season 2 of Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix. Watched the first season on holiday last year. It is the pseudo-archaeologist and pseudo-historian Graham Hancock who presents it basically about his theories that the accepted version of human history around the ice age is wrong and civilisations existed earlier than was thought. I enjoyed the first season from an entertainment perspective even though I thought a lot of what he was saying was fantasy. The second season focuses on the Americas and he's got Keanu Reeves on it with him this time. Didn't realise Reeves was into these alternate theories.
I’ve watched both of these as well, I enjoyed both seasons, I like the train of thought to be honest, I like a good conspiracy theory without really being suckered in to full believer, his findings are normally very quickly rubbished by experts in the field but it gives you something to think and wonder about for a while, like the Mayan astronomy and level of mathematics absolutely fascinatingQuote:

I’m just catching up with Slow Horses. I like to binge so I wait until it’s all available at once. Gary Oldman is perfection as always, but I don’t think Kristin Scott-Thomas doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves, she’s just amazing. Love the humour in every episode, one minute you’re on the edge of your seat and the next you’re laughing out loud. One of my favourite programs ever, and I’ve said it before possibly about another series but it’s a shame it’s on Apple TV because it reduces the amount of people who can watch it. I’m the only person out of all my friends and family that subscribes to it. I’m always raving about shows that no one else has seen. It’s so frustrating.
