Using the back of a fag packet, the loss to Hibs with no home derbies is anything upwards of £100,000 each time; and that's just from the yams. Add to that the number of Hibbies undoubtedly lost to the home crowd ( because let's face it, there must be a fair few who come along only for the big games) and the impact on the club's finances will be huge.
So this begs the question. Just where are we going to find the shortfall? :dunno:
I now tell yams I know were getting readyto fill the corners of Easter Road to make way for all the new fans they laugh and say they will never support Hibs but watch that smile vanish

It's worth noting that while the yams start their self congratulatory back slapping for supposedly selling 500 seasons and raising money on Kickback that may or may not reach it's intended destination (think of all the plasma TVs you could buy with 13 grand), that all the money they've raised so far is the equivalent of David Obua's basic wage for three months.
And yet they act surprised that they're in this position in the first place :crazy:
I think hibs fans did step up to the plate last season, our attendances increased despite the fact that we had one of our worst seasons in years culminating in an embarrassing defeat in the cup final. Hibs fans are amongst the most loyal fans in the country, I can't think of another team that has had as many kickings as us and still came back for more.Quote:

Spot on, Fergus Mcann along with the others you mentioned were the only reason these clubs survived, even Motherwell had their money man at the time, I just can't see anyone with any business mentality with an enormous wealth throwing it at Hearts, there is just too big a black hole to fill knowing full well they won't get a fraction of it back as there is no assets or big enough fan base, the Huns have over 50k at every home game and they are again losing £1m a month, I genuinely struggle to see how they will be playing any sort of football next season in any league!!Quote:
