Feel like that's been an issue for a while, and why McCart was previously a target.
Think we could do with cover for when Hanlon is injured, or if he's needed to play centrally in a 3.

Some players suit certain clubs, I think the majority would have said McGeough isn’t a good fit for Aberdeen.

It's a difficult one IMO. There's every chance that McGeoch probably does retain a lot of the ability he had when he was at Hibs, but it's still a gamble in terms of how many games we get out of him and what kind of money he's on. I suppose a valid question might be, is he better than a good defensive midfielder we can get for the same price and play more games?Quote:

My point was that he along with Ferguson, McGrath and Brown is a very good midfield to have.
I’m not saying McGeough is the messiah and best centre mid in the league like some are making out I am. Like I said some players suit some teams and for me he was never going to succeed at Aberdeen.

Hedges has been linked with Blackburn and I doubt if McGrath would be a replacement for him. I would say he was more of a natural replacement for Ferguson or a partner which would give them a very strong midfield imo. Ideally we would not want McGrath at Aberdeen to play along side Ferguson. As far as we are concerned, we don't want them to get McGrath, and also Ferguson leaving in the summer would be cherry on the cake.Quote:
