Apparently St Mirren interested in Gogic wonder if we could use him as leverage in a deal for McGrath

If we want McGrath we can offer him a deal, nothing St Mirren can do about it. It’s up to him to decide where he wants to go at this point.

Maybe could use Gogic to get McGrath in earlier, if we do get him to sign a pre-contract.

I reckon McGrath will be away to the Championship though.

Aberdeen fans reckon he's signing for them and there are a number of players who are being offered in exchange/loan

25 years old, Ireland international, I think McGrath will, understandably, thinking about money. Won't be rich after 7 years with St Patricks Ath, Dundalk & St Mirren.

St Mirren could do the same with Gogic tbf as his contract is also up this summer.

Patterson having medical at Everton £12m plus 4m add ons. Tavernier must be some player to keep him out the team 🤔

Would love it if we got McGrath, think he’s a top player.

But I wonder if Maloney/Hibs think that Henderson, Tait, Mueller etc can offer the same or more as him for the money. Also when you consider McGrath is 25.

Hopefully he goes to England as he would be a very good signing for Aberdeen.

If he goes there I hope Ferguson is going in the summer. That pair would make a decent central midfield pairing imo

Lots of posts on twitter basically saying its a done deal. Doesn't mean its truth though.

Yep, those 2 along with Brown and McGeough is a fanstastic midfield for this level.

Brown is far from being done.

McGeough hasn’t hit the heights that he did here but he’s never really got going there. Still a good option for your 4th centre mid.

Griffiths needs to go to a team like Livi or St Mirren where the manager won't take his *****. Signing for his pal in ****ger country for him wasn't the greatest idea.

He needs to get out of Scotland, if he can get a team to take a chance of him down south or abroad he should go. Up here he's terrorised wherever he goes.

Fair point aye and he's not got the mentality to not let it effect his game (very little could).

Derek Adams at Bradford or a team like that could be good for him. Sadly I see it all going the same way as Riordan for him now.

Yip, McGeouch should be in his prime but will be scratching about looking for a club at the bottom end of the SPL or EFL 1 next season. He’ll have earned a decent wedge the last 4 years but his career has been in free fall since he left Hibs. Will see out the rest of his career in the lower leagues.

Yes, its like Riordan, had the world at his feet at one point and blew it due to off the field influences. LG has the same issues. Needs to get away from here.

McGeouch would be a costly option who spends most of his time on the bench or in the stand.

Brown has been part of an Aberdeen team that has failed to match up to fan expectations.
