They have seven days until HMRC commence court action. In reality that means they have 17-21 days to pay, because the other creditors require notice of the court action (it would be advertised in the Edinburgh Gazette and the Scotsman). They should surely be able to meet that sort of deadline.Quote:

Happens all the time. I encourage my clients to talk to HMRC if they have a problem, as soon as possible. HMRC are normally more willing to negotiate if people do that, rather than ignoring it.Quote:
