Pats running the ball well.
What a contrast from last week.
17-17
Saints with momentum as Talib leaves the game
That was some hit on Amendola...
its gonna come down to the last play of the game i feel, is that amendola out injured again?:greengrin
Massive hit on Amendola. Wow.
Such a ****ing predictable series! Try throwing the ball Tom, eh?
Surprised that stood up.
24-23 Saints.
Another stupid decision from Belichick on 4th down. 2 minute warning, 2 TOs left and they go for it on 4th and 6 so close to our own End Zone. Punt it away, stop them, take the ball up the field and score the winning FG.
2:34 with a TO and 2 minute warning left, trailing by 4.
Not hopeful.
****ing idiot. Absolute ****ing idiot.
Wow! What an ending!
****ing genius. Absolute ****ing genius
Now my problem is going to be getting to sleep as I'm buzzing :greengrin
thats a sickener, you know what needs to be done and cant get to the qb when you have to, great game though.
Tom. ****ing. Brady.
What a weekend that was!
In the NCAA 3 unbeaten teams go down, Also Georgia who probably can't afford to lose another game.
The Jags give the Bronco's a scare, The Pats had a brilliant last minute drive.
The Pack are above .500 for the first time this season.
well the Saints were cheated out of that game.
Mental calls all night and the holding on the final TD was insane.
Feels a bit like watching the refs screw scottish teams when they take a trip to glasgow.
You were certainly screwed over on the neutral zone infraction/false start call but otherwise you can put away the victim card. The refs were just poor last night and it worked both ways.
If our winning TD should have been pulled back for holding, your go ahead TD should have been wiped out for offensive pass interference as Stills pushed Dennard away to get the space to make the catch.
We still need to trade for a decent WR. And we need The Gronk back.
The commentary last night suggested the players are getting pissed off that he's not playing as he's turning up in practice and is easily the best player on the field, only to be left out on Sundays.
We definitely need another WR - our current crop are dropping far too much.

Brees interception. How that wasent a timeout or delay of game I will never know. Watched a lot of football and never saw that. He tried to take timeout at 1. Play clock went to 0. Ball snapped about 2 seconds later and they let the play go. Weird
I can understand not rushing him yet we need him. Ok we are 5-1 but they could also have been the other way.
Aye, that was quite strange actually. I was roaring at the laptop for the officials to throw flags for DoG and was livid when they allowed it to go unpunished - had he managed a first down out of that, I'd have felt aggrieved I guess but the officials couldn't have known what the outcome would be so they're only partly to blame.
wee video for you Darren if you havent seen it already mate, good tunes as well ;)

Some crazy scores in college football again this weekend with Taxas A&M, LSU, Georgia and Clemson all losing.
By the looks of it, we had a bit of a shootout with Indiana, racking up 63 points into the bargain (though more worryingly, conceding 47...).
With Ohio State winning again and Clemson getting crushed, the Buckeyes should find themselves at #3 when the rankings are announced tomorrow.
Not going to see the Patriots vs Jets game today but for the first time in a while, I think both teams and fans won't be sure what to expect! I do worry a little with the loss of Amendola, Talib, Mayo and long-term Wilfork that we're weaker than we were when we played them at Foxborough but another low-scoring game wouldn't surprise me today.
Karma!
Patriots lose on a controversial call
Two observations from today:
1. There is no more satisfying an image in sports than a dejected Tom Brady sitting on the bench.
2. Those Packers uniforms are smart.
They are indeed smart.
I think I have a man crush for Eddie Lacy:greengrin
******* ******* *******!
Is the Jags offensive gameplan to score only field goals? Coz it aint working.
You been sucking lemons all week? :greengrin
Strange week in the NFL - only seen our highlights, as I was out celebrating my wedding anniversary yesterday, but no complaints really. The players know the rules and you cannot do that anymore.
Geno Smith looks a very promising young QB - he just needs the Jets organisation to build around him and give him some viable weapons to use :agree:
Might the result yesterday finally result in the return of DH?! He's not posted in a long while despite the fact that he's running away with the fantasy league! :greengrin
Still bleating about the Solder "Hold" on KTs GWTD? You're only bleating because you got to see it in Slo-mo, you watch that at game speed and you'll notice that he barely holds him at all.
It seemed like a controversial call, but the call was right, sadly, but the examples of the rule shown to teams in the off season had guys pushing who were not on the LoS at the time of the snap to explain the penalty, which had many fuming when it was called.
I'm still not happy with a lot of the calls from that game but I did enjoy reading the patriots message board this week.
Got a soft spot for the jets too as they have the most Hibs like jerseys
Edit
Just seen these tweets from Albert Breer, seems the patriots got away with doing the same thing against us last week. I wonder at what point that was and how it would have effected the game with the correct call. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/22/byjutenu.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/22/qase4yna.jpg
Wow Monday night football was bad.
I've got the Jaguars training not too far up the road from me this week...however, it's the Jaguars so I've no real inclination to see if I can get near them :greengrin
Breer is a gob*****, how exactly were the Patriots "circumventing" this rule? They were committing an act deemed worthy of a flag but no flag was thrown, that's not circumventing the rules.
Oh and the Jets did the exact same pushing thing during Gostkowski's Game-tying FG and did some at other points during the game.
The first time the penalty is called and it decided the game in question, and don't go on about tuck rule, that was a correct call and did NOT decide the game, it changed the game but did not hand the Patriots the win (unlike the pushing call in question, which effectively won the game for the Jets)
Also interesting to note that the wording of the rule was changed shortly after the game by the NFL on their site.

Cowboys at Jaguars, lions at falcons and miami at raiders next season at Wembley.
Also, Rams enquire over... BRETT FAVRE return!
Bradford is injured Scott. I think.
Still... Tebow time?!
For virgin media viewers with the basic package, its free BT Sport and ESPN this weekend, some good NFL games too :aok:
Looking forward to tomorrows game, dug out my 49ers scarf from last time. Footbaaaallll!
I had no problem going to watch the 49ers when I was in San Francisco for a conference last year but I ended up sitting next to a bunch of Cardinals fans who were also in San Francisco on business and just went to take in a game.
However, I've absolutely no love for them and you wouldn't catch me wearing any other NFL teams apparel...
Speaking of whom, I didn't realise San Francisco were leaving San Francisco next year and moving 40 miles south to Santa Clara!
They remain the San Francisco 49ers but will no longer be based in the city. Bit of an own goal from SF City authority :agree:
Are they?! Strange.
Tempted to stay up and watch Oregon tonight. Don't normally get a chance to watch them and their usually worth the effort.
Alabama are destroying Tennessee
I was looking forward to the UConn game today as I've only seem us once this year so far...safe to say I didn't enjoy that though.
Ouch.
Another great result for the Ducks last night. Didn't see any of the game though.
Woke up surprisingly unhungover in East London this morning. Time to nip for brunch, a few pints then off to Wembley. Go Jags!
Really worried about the Michigan vs Ohio State game now as they absolutely destroyed Penn State last night - Braxton Miller looked outstanding both running and passing the ball! Nearly 700 yards of total offense...
They'll tear our defense to pieces.
Getting the train from saaf to norf to Wembley. Need Kapernick to have a belter!
Cmon the Jags:aok:
I'm quite glad I'm opting for this game - 7-0 down followed by a 3 and out...
Some eye popping scorelines already; Pats being squished by the fish and the chiefs keep being unstoppable, both 14-0.
21-0 49 er's. QB having great game. 90 yards throwing plus 50 odd rushing.
49ers scored 30 + points in last 4 games
Unbelieveable comeback from Stafford:not worth 31-30 Detroit over Dallas.
I left to go and play 5s when we were 17-3 down and I expected bugger all - was surprised to come back in and see we'd won!
Enjoying the Denver vs Washington game so far :agree:
Just seen the highlights - what a night Drew Brees had!
It still hurts to see Wes Welker not in a Patriots uniform these days :(
Thank you Andre Ellington!
The jets are getting hammered!
useless jets ***** are giving the bungles easy points here and my fantasy team 40point win is down to 4pts cos gates has the bungles D :bitchy:
Another interception from Ryan - dirty, useless, rotten, overvalued, desperate, smelly ******* :greengrin
Wembley was fantastic tonight, had unreal seats and tons of points scored. Brilliant day out. Cant wait for a London team.
38 points in the second half from Denver...frightening.
