12 hours have past since bollah last posted - surely it must be DH on the clock?
I think there will be plenty of time for all this come draft time.
FWIW I'll start gathering names for next season shortly. (probably once the play offs are done)
Im in. :aok:
BTW Sergio has 2 hours left and then its Calvins pick...
I'm on my mobile, so can someone update the list for me please? :greengrin I'll take Jonny Football.... :greengrin
BTW, I'm in again this year!
Hurry up everyone :greengrin
I am defo in
I'm definitely in - knew it would pay off keeping the Revis Islanders team name! :aok:
Oh and who is drafting Tom Brady this year? I'm sure you get points off for every sack and looking at the Jets and Dolphins he's going to be spending most of the year on his erse!
:thumbsup::thumbsup: yes please
I will draft Brady Ayrshire. He will be back up to Tebow though :hyper
Ooft just made it in time for my pick. I wish to follow in the footsteps of many a Supplemental draft and defer. For now.
P.S. I would indeed like to regain my title this year.
I'm in. Had a very busy year last year and didn't get to do anywhere near enough patriot bashing. Hopefully make up for it this year though :)
Oh, and haymaker should defo 100% be held to his first pick :)
I'm in again this year, quite looking forward to our draft too!
I'm all set for the draft. Think we should stick to the 12 hours per draft pick though.
What did you all think of the suggestion on the PM, to try and get the first 2 rounds done together? It's something I don't think will take long and add an extra element to the draft.
I'd be up for trying to get the first couple of rounds done quickly, but I would need a couple of weeks notice to rota myself off.
To be honest though, I think the chances of getting all 16 of us available at the same time are pretty slim - and the price for missing out on the first two rounds is severe!
ls it possible to start a new thread for the upcoming season, too many pages to trawl thru :greengrin
Would rather stick with the 12 hour thing but if every else wants to give a live draft a go then fine. It'll probably need to be a Sunday night for me though as can be a busy guy.
I'll be flexible during the summer months - being a primary teacher has its advantages :aok:
Must admit I do enjoy the offline draft - I think it's one of the things that make our league what it is!
I'm all in either way!
Keep it the same please. And of course, I'm in:aok:
I'm quite happy to go with the majority. Online draft sounds like a nightmare to organise as well.
Gatecrasher pm sent.
I'm easy when it comes to the draft, anytime at the weekend would suit for a live draft!
100 days till the season kicks off, to excited!
I think NOLA is the only one to get back to me now...
While I realise that I am in the minority, I don't understand why people think it's a nightmare to organise. My work draft last year was completed in less than one hour. I know we all have different schedules but one hour to finish a draft seems very manageable. One key factor with a live draft, you have 30 seconds to complete your pick. If you don't make a pick in time then you are automatically given the "next best" pick as per the site's rankings. I said my draft was over in about an hour (I think it was half an hour) but there were one or two folks on auto-pick. Auto picks take no time at all so the draft flies through their picks.
The downside of an online draft is you have to be prepared. You can't analyse players during the draft, not with only 30 seconds per pick. I can see some people disliking that aspect of it. That said, I'm usually prepared, or as prepared as I can be. I don't do much research but I try to look for a couple of sleepers to pick up in later rounds. The first 100 or so players practically pick themselves. Unless I have a total stiffy for a player, "next best" is usually somebody I would take anyway. That's not going to work for you if you need an RB and the highest ranking player available on your turn is a WR. So again, I can see why some people dislike it. I would love to try a draft party but everyone I play FF with is spread far apart and that would be a nightmare (impossible) to arrange.
I'm in this year and will go through whatever draft we decide to go with. I think we should adopt the google docs spreadsheet approach as well since that makes for easier viewing (unless your smart phone can't view google docs).
What ^^^ he ^^^ said. :flag:

Everyone just happy to go with the post play offs standings then?
Yep sounds fair enough
The sooner we get started the easier it'll be to get finished in time :aok: Happy to go with either standings for the draft order. We sticking to 12 hour limit for draft picks too?
I'm ready to start whenever, will not always be near a good internet connection for the next two weeks but will work something out.
Happy to start whenever suits. I get fibre broadband in my new house on Thursday, so should be good to go after that. Being last in the list means I'll have to wait a while for my first picks anyway....
Happy to kick off whenever, and the 12 hour time limit again sounds okay
do we have a start date and running order for the picks? and what site are we using?
I'm ready whenever you guys are.
PM's sent to everyone except Sylar who's inbox is full.

Sorry Gatey, because I didn't renew my PM, my allocation dropped.
Emptied it now if you'd be so kind as to resend.
Grassy arse Gatey :aok:
Going to start planning tonight, lesson learned from last year: don't pick Montee Ball in the first round (what was i thinking!!)
Good to see everyone's :hyper
What is the best site to use to keep track of the draft, ie an app that l can put in players picks to show me who is left?
There is no site (that I know of) that will do that for you unless you're drafting through their site and using a live draft. You will have to print out your own cheat sheets and score off players as they are drafted. Last year we put the picks into a google docs spreadsheet so you didn't have to scroll through this thread, but some people had issues accessing that from their lame cell phones.
I can't see me defending my title this year with 16th and 17th pick in the draft, hoping Tebow and Jameis Winston are still available at that stage....
Working Friday so l will start with Marshawn Lynch RB - SEA
I don't know what it is about him, but he looks like he'll be a bust to me to be honest, he seems like he has a bit of an attitude problem and throws a lot of interceptions.
Tebow on the other hand is primed for a glorious comeback under Chip Kelly, I can't wait....
so we are starting this on Friday? should give us enough time to complete by seasons start!
Might as well take my pick as Im second up and Im going with AP running back Minnesota.
16th Place - Finsagogo - Marshawn Lynch RB Seahawks
15th Place - Byrds and the Brees - Adrian Peterson RB Vikings
14th Place - Uber Alles
