Share Transfers Agreed/Cooling off period

Into March which should end with the official deadline day bar on playing any new signings till next season. There's a tiny wee bit of me would just like to see them come out of Admin in April just to see the seethers baying at the SFPL for making up rules to prevent them playing squad no 51.

They don't get finance, they don't get legal and they also have problems with applying the rules. The confusion is endless as is the fun.

If they come back up in one season and stay up then they would see that as getting away with it .But no guarantee they will do that and be interesting to see who they can afford and if ex players do sign up and how they get financed .But as we have seen with Sevco more and more money is needed and budge would have to bring others on board and fans owning club Will turn out to be a vehicle that was used to try and get the deal done as cheaply as possible So there lots of mileage left in this to run and run

I see new regulations covering Pay-Day lenders is coming into force in a couple of months and will require all of their advertising to carry a " risk Warning ".

I wonder if that will apply to the Yam strips if the " Heart and Soul of Edinburgh " renew their partnership with that bastion of enlightenment that is Wonga.

A risk warning on the bloodied-turd coloured jerseys is long overdue, with or without the Wonga logo, if you ask me. :greengrin

When we get beat and everyone is moaning how bad we are there're is something reassuring about coming onto this thread as it's all about the Hear7s self inflicted problems and we know that that's not going to be us in a few years time .We don't need any Memorandum of Understanding ,as we understand how to Prudently Manage our Finances and adhere to the Principles of Sporting Integrity.

A contributing factor in the length of this thread is the frequency of our defeats these days.

Not least because Sevco aren't doing it to shed debt...they don't have any debt. Not the sharpest tools in the box when it comes to financial matters over there, as they've proven time and again. Lest we forget, these are the half-wits who believed they 'owed it to themselves' right up to the point when the creditors knocked on their door

What this does cement is the fact of how difficult it is for a club even after exiting administration (if indeed they do), as simply cutting the wage bill and shedding old debt doesn't alleviate other costs that put you into administration in the first place.

Ask Coventry - Portsmouth (twice) and closer to home, Gretna, Airdrieonians and Clydebank.

Given that everything is still embroiled in dealings of the courts in Lithuania, It could be said that Hearts are in a perilously worse position than those aforementioned clubs.

Those tops will be doing the rounds at any given third rate knock-off market for the next ten years. They go full circle and end up being sold at The Barras by 2020 (as "taaps"), 3 for a fiver - "Erra RR taaps, thrree'frah'poun".

Yam economists will tell you that Hibs debt has increased markedly in the last 5 years and indeed it did take a large jump upwards in 2010. Around the same time a huge green and white thing appeared on the east side of our stadium. Wonder if these seemingly unrelated incidents might have a connection? :dunno:

It's just one timescale after another from them. When they went into Admin they said they would be out and debt free (including the debt to the poppy factory) in 2 weeks.

According to the Yams we're losing £1m a season but reducing the debt at the same time. Yamenomics.

They think they've stumbled across some grand loophole that will see them elevated to the 3rd best team in Scotland. Do they not realise that if they're wee plan was as big a success as they think it will be that every team in the league will follow suit? In fact, if they really wanted to, there'd be nothing to stop every club entering admin on the same day, largely nullifying the punishment a points deduction would bring.

Of course that won't happen because, despite their protestations, it's not having debt that is cheating, it's not paying your debt because you're paying players exorbitant wages that's the problem.

Just popped over. They are beyond help. They are more or less saying its OK to cheat if you have something to show for it; we should be ashamed because we built a compliant stadium that's used for big games; we should be ashamed for not winning one of the weakest cup competitions in the world (nice of them to put their own achievements into perspective); ashamed for still being alive.

I think we have to accept that, whatever people think of Hearts, we won't be seeing them for some time. It's a bummer for us, as they used to bring a lot of fans to our ground, if they thought they were going to win.

We just have to get used to not having that money anymore, and not spend cash we don't have. The tine has come to stop feeling sorry for the patient, and start hoping that their last journey goes peacefully.

There is nothing Hibs, and the rest of the senior clubs can do to help them now. Turn to ourselves, and do what we can to get by - within the law.

Maybe Tam Cowan could do the first Off the Ball of the season from ER, next year?

What's this 'leaked' crap...like it's some sort of nose tapping winking ritual. The day it will happen has been moved, but nothing has been said officially. What exactly is happening on the 30th April?

If the Yam fud thinks they will be out of admin by then, remember and point out that the UBIG creditors need 30 days notice before they can have a meeting. The reality is that for the charity thieves to be out of admin by the last day of April, we'll need to have notice of a creditors' meeting within the next 3 weeks.

This is amusing. For months now Sergey has been telling us that one of the reasons things will be delayed is because Yams are fairly insignificant in the overall scheme of things. Now your friend basically calls Sergey a roaster because, in the scheme of things Hearts are not a big priority. In other words your friend agrees with Sergey. It's also a tad contradictory that 2 weeks ago BJ said deal would be in April but meanwhile he's toddled off to Lithland to speed things up! I think I'll stick with Bajillions & Sergey for now!

They are creditor meetings where the transfer of the shares will be 'rubber stamped'. Only then, will the courts become involved, and BDO will try to convince the very slow moving Judicial Authorities that the shares are not integral to the ongoing criminal investigation...pretty much as they did with Portsmouth and the shares which are STILL frozen

Firstly, there has to be an excess of income over expenditure for that to happen & secondly the contribution from Yams will be limited to whatever is the value of that excess. If there is no excess then all fees will be paid by UBIG. I'm sure BDO are doing their best to minimise costs/maximise income, apart from the fortune they're paying Billy Broon of course!

It is correct. The fees were frozen at the point of the CVA. The consensus at the time was that this was one of UKIO's terms otherwise it's costing the lith tax payer even more money every month. If I remember right this has been confirmed in a couple of official documents.

I largely agree, my point is Yams have to make a profit, or more correctly to have an excess of income over expenditure in that period for them to be able to make a contribution. As I said I'm sure BDO will be busting a gut to make that happen but it's not guaranteed they'll make a profit nor how large it will be. The one thing that is certain is that BDO will get their Wonga!
