Had a look on the Hearts ticket site out of noseyness. They still have a lot of tickets left for tomorrow, have hardly sold a ticket for the Celtic cup game (remember Hearts don't have a cup top up so no seasons to mask figures) and not many have been sold for the Inverness game. It is true that when Hearts are not playing well their crowd, even at such desperate times like this, disappears. Big club, my arse.
To get back on track, the most relevant post of the last few days has been from Mikey. He simply questioned why the hearing had been put back a week.
Obviously there is something happening to scupper the CVA.
A bit of background info on Lithuania. It's economy had one year of deep recession (2010), after which is has shown remarkable growth, albeit with highish unemployment. The point here is that the Lith Govt are not desparate for cash; they are not stupid either and will not take a knock down price for an 'asset' that is worth more than is being offered.
So far it's clear that Hearts are still beating there life in them yet as they keep beating us Big Tell has a different mind set already so we want to be able to give them what the deserve a few holdings before they slink away to the first division then we want to cup them in the Scottish cup and hump them 7. 0 then couldn't care what happens to them after that :not worth
I think they have a different attitude to sports clubs over there. Look at the way Vladimir mucked about his Lith football club, putting them down to amateur status, his high flying basketball club disbanded or something similar.
I don't think there's any good reason to think a foreign sports club, who have just robbed them of millions, can expect any favours.
One thing is certain.
It's going to be a very, very nervy week for our pink pals.
Good.:greengrin
Event: Estate agents value land near PBS at 5m up.
Banderson: Property Market Toasts Hearts Resurgence.
A query for one of our Insolvency experts. Does Insolvency law limit the number of times the the CVA vote can be postponed ?
Did anyone hear Brian McGlaughlin from BBC Sportsound pre our game. He was blustering as normal but did say that while yams hopeful, acceptance of CVA is far from a certainty and doubt remains. Given he is close to BDO bloke i would say we could have an interesting few days coming up.
Can someone confirm i'm correct in thinking there is no way Hearts can be out of admin by Xmas?
Had a fud bending my ear today that if they got out of admin by Xmas and signed a few good players in January it could set them up for the next few years.
I'm convinced with the 30 day cooling off period and the CVA vote delayed until the 29th at the earliest that there is now way they can exit admin this year.
Does the transfer window close midnight 31 Jan?
I was talking to somebody in the office about this. He reckons earliest they will get outline agreement is end of december. Process for taking them officially out of admin will average 4-8 weeks but Lithuanian factor and also that bigger wider company admin going on (and focus in this) could mean 12 weeks. So lets say end if March best case!!!
Wonder how may out of contract match fit players are available at end of March???
The folk who think hearts will sign anyone decent are seriously deluded! They are skint and I mean skint. Even if they did get through this it's fan owned and there is no money. Hearts as we know them are dead. They will struggle for many years now as they are going down no matter what.
Mind that wee club hertz who *****ed their whole club to beat us a couple of times? Cute
I can't see them signing anybody in the next window.
Not a bad attendance at the PBS 12,508
Getting lower and lower with every passing home game.
Pleasing
If Hearts hoped to survive in the Premiership today was a must win at home against one of the clubs at the bottom of the league. Shame they could only draw.
December is going to be a big month for them. They'll be pumped out the cup by Celtic, and I doubt they'll get anything from visits to Parkhead and Tannadice, and might even receive two morale-sapping savage beatings there. They play St Mirren at Love Street, and have home fixtures against ICT and Killie, the latter one probably being a must-win for them.
The threadbare squad might pick up injuries around then, and I think there will be an intensely darkening financial picture. I'm hoping for the pleasurable fiasco of an FOH CVA, but I expect this won't happen, with the decision being further deferred (in which they are privately told to up their bid) and a prolonged administration with more begging to fans and businesses.
I really hope they make the 2nd Jan so that we have the opportunity to erase the embarrassment of the last two encounters, but I have to be honest and say I ain't confident.
And the share certificates still won't be issued.
Their next league fixtures are
Dundee utd away 7th Dec
ICT home 14th Dec
Celtic away 21st Dec
Really cannot see them taking anything from these three matches and they are already 12 points behind Kilmarnock.
On the 26th they play Killie at home
i suspect hertz would like to play us every other week....nae luck yamboids
1066 and all that!:cb
They've taken 4 points from their last 2 games when, on both occasions, they were losing while facing 11 men. Also, per reports they should have been buried in both games ( dons missing a pen ) before the sendings off. It's a temporary glimmer of light shortly to be snuffed out!
Tapestry Great carol king album from the 70s One of her songs was called Why Doesn't Anyone Live In One Place Anymore .Bet the Lithuanian Tax guys wish this was the case Has anyone any idea if Romanov has surfaced any where in that Submarine of his . As for the Jambs the only Tapestry they will be weaving won't be The Paisley Pattern , it will be trying to weave there way out the third Division with this Talented Group of youngsters we keep hearing about Let's see how they get on in the lower leagues
When are we likely to see some outcomes from the PM board news at the end of last week? I'm still not aware of what the scoop was but that's cause I'm tight ;-)
Sums this whole situation up perfectly for me:agree:
Some of us crave, need and demand a proper outcome to this situation !!!!!
Some of us will follow the info that will lead us to our personal "GFRUY" relief !!!!
I feel most, not all on this site need justice to be done and are willing true justice to prevail!!!
the fact that the general media have ignored the theft and cast aside of honest everyday people
makes this circus all the more aggravating, annoying and disgusting !!!
if members on this forum claim to know the outcome and would like to tease rather than confirm this scenario, then be aware of our backlash!!!!!! If these ******* get away with this!!!!
:greengrin
They've got their work cut out but I didn't like Pascali's comments in the Scotsman this morning. He says that if Killie can't get their act together, they look likely to be relegated automatically. Music to the Jambos ears as I think they would win in a dogfight with Killie.
No problem I just thought someone might have heard something over the weekend. With Hearts being at home i thought there would be some gossip floating around. Some yam friends on Facebook posted some pics of themselves in hospitality which looked pretty busy.
Not sure bout the ST's as Mad Vlad did one with the money they took in for about 7,000 (ish) (putting it in the same suit case as the Share monies).
Did they not get 3,000 stumping up more cash for ST at the request of BDO to help them survive.
If it is true bout 2508 by the time you take off match day costs etc doesn't leave a lot for the biscuit tin!!
No, totally different situation. Those clubs sold their stadiums and as part of the deal new stadiums were built for those clubs giving up their sites in the locations the supermarkets wanted tae build.
h****s are not flogging their site as part of any deal, it will be being flogged by the administrators/liquidators tae pay off debts.
And the ****s will also be eliminated. :greengrin :partyhibb
:brokenyam:
:hahaha::jamboclow
The others were also in areas the supermarkets wanted to build in, and where no clear alternative sites existed nearby.
Gorgie/Chesser has a few alternatives (google the Fruitmarket and Morrisons for one example) which reduces any rush to offer deals that are overly kind to a company now synonymous with charity theft
I just wish it would hurry up and happen, so a can dance on their grave :greengrin
This is why it's really no win for Hearts. If the ground is worth something for a developer then the rumours may be true and they'll buy it for £2.5M+.
If it's not then the yams find themselves playing football in the 1st division with a stadium that is falling apart, expensive to maintain and worth no more than £2.5M. There is no way they can save enough money to renovate or build a new stadium before the problems become too large to keep playing at tynecastle.
i just can't wait to here they are dead
Someone mentioned the other day a site at 396-400 Gorgie Road was going on the market with planning for student accommodation for offers over £ 2 million.
https://citydev-portal.edinburgh.gov...=LQQP3PEW7N000
That will be the site, 0.61 hectares ( 1.5 acres ) and is about 1 mile further from town but does have a main street frontage.
The PBS is 6 acres and the offer is £ 2.5 million. Can Lithuanians do sums ?
There was a FOH Q&A tonight. Judging by the reports on kickback they're not quite as confident of a CVA anymore.
CVA will be delayed for another seven days
CVA can't be delayed again after that
Nobody knows if cva will go through
Some ***** about budgeting for relegation
nobody on FOH is taking any salary etc
Investors are all hearts fans and not going to make any profit on investment
If Valnetas accept, circa 1.5 to 2 million for the whole kit and kaboodle ( which is likely to be about all they`ll get after BDO have grabbed their fees in full ), i`d like to be a fly on the wall when they give their explanation to the Lithuanian government of why they found that sum acceptable when they could likely realise around 3 or 4 times that amount in an auction. Especially as they`re owed around 15 million.
" If you have not pledged, PLEDGE!
- Get anybody you know who has not pledged, PLEDGE.
- If you have pledged, and you can afford it, PLEDGE MORE. "
Clearly, this is how a 'big' club operates. :faf:
Surely they could just get all the excess PLEDGE that Gary MacKay has left over after polishing his medals.
From the keekback....my comments in the black :greengrin
Possible further delay of 7 days for CVA..... shock
- CVA then can't be delayed further .....Squeaky bum time...
- Hopeful CVA approved but no guarantees...thought they were already celebrating?
- Investors all Hearts fans and not making anything for their investments....great people
- Investors not revealead....I wonder why!
- Investors to be repaid in 3 years when Hearts will be owned by the fans (once in a lifetime opportunity)...more loans and more debts - wonder what the interest is?
- Need to get to 10k pledgers (average pledge £16 per month)...still quite a bit away...
- Currently 7,600 signed up....muppets...what happened to the 400,000?
- Budget for next 3 years includes worse case scenario (relegated & out cups 1st round)..lets hope this happens and they come back to reality
- Marketing being delayed until CVA decision made...can't wait to see the marketing..
- If positive outcome more details and incentives will come out and marketing will go into full drive...exciting times...
- FOH doing all work in own time and unpaid....great...give yourself a medal
- Need to tap into support for skilled people (lawyers/financial advisers/business experts) to get involved...the way big teams operate
- If CVA agreed club still needs support, this is only the beginning and fans will need to keep supporting the FOH...can't see fans doing this plus a ST every year.
- Two boards, mirror image (FOH investors & FOH board) FOH board will repay the investment over 3 years....see above - loans and more debt
- Legal agreements being drawn up but not yet finalised due to legal costs..won't be cheap
- Money is there for the club to complete the season...great - we hopefully will see them relegated or even better relegate them when we play again at the PBS
- No budget for players (wheeling and dealing may be possible I.e free transfers but that is )..you can't sign players yet..your still in Admin...basically more kids...
- Gary Locke doing a great job under the circumstances...well done...relegation will look good on the CV
- If relegated season ticket prices will probably drop...doubt it
- TV revenue if relegated is unknown..basically not much...
- If you have not pledged, PLEDGE...begging bowl out once again..
- Get anybody you know who has not pledged, PLEDGE....CRINGE
- If you have pledged, and you can afford it, PLEDGE MORE. CRINGE...BIG TEAM = BIG TROUBLE
- THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY FOR US FANS TO OWN OUR CLUB AND SHAPE ITS FUTURE - short term plan...long term not sustainable.
That's about all I can remember.
:greengrin Will send these to FOH headquarters first thing tomorrow!
bursting with pride to be doing my bit!:aok:
