I'm a bit conflicted. Taking a point at celtic Park with a late equaliser should make me happy. But probably won't get a better chance to win there given the circumstances of today. Well the mini rot has stopped at least. Onto the Killie game!
Good 90 mins for Murphy to get under his belt.
It's hardly their 1st team either. 1 of 3 goalies who are constantly on rotation. A 17 and 16 year old who have players about 3 professional games between them. A player who's only just started getting a game ahead of Brown... Outside Laxall, MacGregor and Frimpong the rest are hardly regulars. Maybe Duffy also but he's only started recently out if necessity.
Anyway we salvaged a point out a game I think we were more that capable of winning. Ross needs to get more consistently out of his squad and hopefully that starts with a few more players in soon.
Good point, played better in the 2nd half but poor from Ross bringing on McGinn looking to hold out for a draw, Celtic really only had 4 regular 1st teamers and were there for the taking. Ross's management style is just not adventurous enough far too conservative, great opportunity to have a right go at them.
Questions have to be asked why Wright still gets a game, yes we're short on numbers but this lad is nowhere near our standard, lower half Prem/Championship player, as is S McGinn who's here purely for cover and Ross's mate.
It is a point we were unlikely to get without their Dubai trip and we were worth the point in the end. Again Jack Ross tried to close the game off and it could have cost us. They were tired late on and we should have went for the jugular, when we lost the goal we stepped up the pace so why not do it to go for the win earlier. Mallan did really well when he came on and Murphy was MOTM. Nisbet scores again despite not being at his best and Doidge poor again not connecting with a half chance and almost missing a decent chance from a corner.
We'd have taken nothing if we'd brought on Gullan. Good sub by Ross.
If we were playing their reserves you wouldn’t be surprised to see
Hazard
Duffy
Welsh
Johnston
Rogic
Harper
Dembele
Henderson
Okoflex
That’s 9 of the 14 players that made it on the pitch. Before the last few games you could have put Turnbull and Soro in that list as well. Whilst it’s not quite the ‘reserves’ it wasn’t far off it.
An ok result today but we were poor performance wise. Even a pretty decent performance would have been enough to get a win imo and as such it’s quite a disappointing result in some ways.
Wasn't the most inspiring game or performance but we don't often get a point at parkhead. Good point and well done Hibs for keeping going and earning the point.
Completely disagree. Wasn't an amazing performance but we were solid enough at the back and created a good few chances. Calling them celtic reserves is a massive stretch, have you watched them at all this season? Frimpong, Duffy, Laxalt, McGregor, Soro, Turnball have all been regular starters in recent weeks and have all been playing really well, apart from Duffy.
Keeper looked good as well.
If Cadden and Irvine come in and we get the other missing quality fit, things are looking healthy again. Could definitely do with another striking option.
Fairly pleased with point, not the performance though.
Thought Macey looked good until the freekick, thought his positioning was poor.
A draw was a fair result. We had so much possession but didn’t do much with it. We need better quality in midfield. Have to remember it can’t have been easy playing the soap dodging COVID ridden tramps either though. Should’ve been 0-3 Hibs.
Let’s not forget that the team we played tonight is worth tens of millions of pounds and on wages we could only dream off. Celtic have the depth that there weakened squad would still walk second over the course of a season.
Good point at a stadium few teams take any.
Good to take something from the game but we were too passive and negative again. JR is clearly a cautious man. Tonight was a night for really taking the game to them and, bar a promising open 15 mins, we didn't do that.
Hopefully Cadden, Irvine, a fit again Magennis and Allan and a new forward to inject some life into the side.
Great point at Parkhead. Just wish we had had a real go earlier cos we could have taken all 3

Glad we got a point but I felt we got a glimpse of what we could’ve done against them in the last 5 minutes, have a go at them and they crumbled
We were pretty solid but we need a lot more creativity going forward. 1 goal in 4 games isn’t good enough.
Showed them too much respect
It’s also a shame to see Stevenson struggling so badly now
6 Regular starters all played and the rest of the starting XI was made up of players who all get plenty of game time off the bench or in rotation, apart from the young American boy.
The combined wage of Celtic's squad tonight will still have been much higher than ours.
We played perfectly fine, I don't know how you can look at the Celtic team that started with players of the quality of Frimpong, McGregor, Laxalt, Turnball etc. and be demanding a victory.
Think people forget we would have had Rocky, Boyle, Allan and probably Mageniss starting if we could have, Celtc should really be beating us when we have so many of our reserve players playing
Stubbs is absolutely shocking .... he sounds doolaley.
That Celtic squad have 143 international caps between them, hibs only 9. But yeah, it's their reserves
