Macey, Gogic, Murphy, P McGinn, Hanlon, and Mallan all played well tonight.

Should’ve put them under more pressure. we should’ve been on the front foot more.

Well we've stopped the run of defeats. Deserved that but I feel we should have went for it as Celtic were poor.

Good to get a point from where we found ourselves but disappointing performance and result all things considered.

Deserved a point there. Two stupid free kicks given away by each side resulted in the goals.

I don’t think I could handle this place if we’d lost that. ****ing well done Hibs, Jack Ross, Kev, everyone.

We deserved at least the point tonight.
I didn’t think we deserved anything. In fact, the nature of that performance was shocking.

I wasn’t expecting us to go out and hammer their reserves but we were gutless. A team of spineless wonders.

Deserved something from that. They scarcely troubled Macey before the non-free-kick free kick.

I’ve not been online much as I’m trying to keep busy with work, is he really close to getting sacked?

  16. #705
Let’s get Irvine and Cadden in. Boyle, Allan and Magennis back fit. Hopefully we can kick on. Improvement is needed though.

  17. #706
Point was the very least we deserved. Well done to the players in a horrible situation

  18. #707
Good point in the end, thought we looked a bit flat again, lacking a wee bit of spark. Can fault the effort or attitude, just a little bit of guile missing, hopefully getting players fit will change that

Got to keep him fit. And get Magennis fit, oh, and Allan. Then the options look a bit better.

Get that right up everyone that couldn’t wait to put the boot in as soon as Celtic scored.

    Well done Hibs.

Good point and Celtic still managed to field a good team.

Decent point in the end. Very unfortunate to lose Doig and Newell, who were playing well, after Boyle was already out injured.

Started and finished the game strongly, with good spells in each half. If Celtic had started with that team (with no Covid issues), with the exception of their forward line, no one would have batted an eyelid.

There’s an ingredient missing from this Hibs team, can’t quite put my finger on it but if Jack Ross can find a wee gem in this transfer window then we won’t be too far away from third place.

As it stands, fourth is the very best I can see is finishing,

No he hasn't. You know that

  28. #717
Celtic didn't deserve to win that, so justice for Hibs in the end. Full marks for keeping going to the end. Stopped the rot.

That result caps off Sevco's title IMO. Celtic are playing for 2nd place.

  29. #718
Hopefully that's us stopped the rot and we can kick on again from here. The only way they really looked like scoring was from long range. Yes Celtic had players out but they still fielded a strong team and were favourites. I think we defended fairly well but we missed the out ball Boyle provides.

Let's get in and about Killie on Saturday and get out home form back on track.

I agree. As the game went on we didn’t create enough. Bringing on McGinn is shockingly poor. We released Ben Stirling who is a better player than McGinn, and we have young fast players on the bench. Poor from Ross.
