Same. Saw she was on the new Taskmaster and that was me unable to watch any of it.
Speaking of Chris Mccausland. He’s brilliant entertainment on strictly just now and his dance was actually really good.

On the subject of comedians, sad news that Janey Godley is receiving end of life care.
She’s definitely not my cup of tea but she has dealt with her illness very bravely and has put up with some horrific trolling on X.
I have a friend who is currently in remission from ovarian cancer and I have seen first hand the effects of treatment and operation recovery. It’s tough for everyone involved.
I hope Janey is comfortable in her palliative care.
Watched supacell recently got more into it as the series went on.
Started Mr McMahon last night enjoying it not too much I didn’t already know in the early episodes though a lot of it covered in other documentaries over the years
If you can be bothered with subtitles I would recommend this, one of many great shows on Walter Presents.

It really is worth looking into Walter Presents if you're looking for quality Drama.
I only watched the first two episode of Mr McMahon last night and they felt like typical Netflix documentary filler, could easily have been condensed into one episode. The story of him buying out his dad and breaking the unwritten rules around the territories has been done to death but even someone who didn't know anything about it didn't need an hour of different people repeating the same things over and over. It's a common fault with Netflix documentaries imo, trying to stretch a 3 episode story into 6 or 8 episodes. I'll stick with it because I think the rise of WCW, the birth of the Attitude Era, the buyout and then the latest revelations are a far better story than Hogan telling us again about why Hulkamania was the pinnacle of human culture.
I also started Nightsleeper but gave up after 2 episodes. Horribe acting, ridiculous plot, terrible dialogue and no connection with any of the characters. I was praying the train would crash and be done with them all after about 20 minutes.
Finished it last night, enjoyed it and thought the plot was pretty decent. Nothing wrong with the acting either despite the comments on here. The likes of Cosmo and Cole are decent and the other Scottish actors in it were okay once you got over thinking about them in Still Game, Two Doors Down etc.
Having watched the first three episodes - they've gone over the steroids scandal and the Montreal screwjob and somehow they've not really blamed him. Acting as if the steroids scandal just appeared out of a vacuum. Or on the screwjob as if bret was the bad guy!
Nor did they challenge him on the whole "oh WCW are taking our best wrestlers" vs his gutting of the territories by - taking their best wrestlers.
I actually don't totally blame him for the screwjob. Everyone always talks about Michael's ego and character at the time but Bret had a huge ego as well and an unwillingness to drop the belt before going to WCW put Vince and the wider WWF in a horrible position. They couldn't risk him pitching up on Nitro with the belt in hand and spitting on it or binning it as had been done before. As Triple H said if Bret wouldn't do the job then someone had to do it for him. It was a sneaky way to go about it and it was humiliating for Bret, particularly in Canada, but his own story as to why he wouldn't drop the belt to SM has changed about 100 times over the years as well. It's gone from wouldn't drop it to him in any circumstances to wouldn't drop it in Canada to would have dropped it to another wrestler regardless of venue to would have dropped it to Shawn if he had accepted his peace offer a week before the match..........
I agree with the rest though. It seems like the intention of the documentary initially was to be a bit of a whitewash; 'oh Vince did some bad stuff but that's how you get ahead in business and look how great he was at that' before current events overtook the production and the last couple of episodes have been forced to confront the more sinister reality.
Great to see Brassic back on again, continues to be it's usual mental self.
I see Capital starring Toby Jones has just been added to Netflix, it was on the iPlayer a few years ago, well worth a watch.
Watched the first couple of episodes of Evil on Walter Presents this morning, about some sinister situations taking place at a boarding school in Sweden, not an easy watch but, a good start.
First episode of Joan last night was decent. :aok:
First of 3 episodes of Cast Away last night. Schofield comes across less than remorseful. ‘Thrown under a bus….’ is his reflection. ‘Sacked by ITV for the crimes of his brother……’, sly digs with his ‘supportive family’ at co-presenter Holly Willoughby….. ‘Not a crime …….just unwise…’. Anger and frustration his companion on the island. Reviews suggest that his ‘comeback’ might do him more harm than good.
Watched the first episode of The Penguin last night very good start.
