The American election is still up in the air as to who will win. I think we might have a better indication after tonight’s debate (21:00 EDT, 02:00 BST). Been in the US for almost 2 weeks and spoke to a few people over that time from various states and the polarisation is clear. Trump voters see Democrats as left wing liberals who are giving their future social security money to job shy immigrants. Harris voters see Trump as a deranged idiot. An independent was voting for Trump because he was better for the economy.
It's an extremely divided place.
