What has this to do with Scotland? But I'm sure if Scotland chose to do so then Trump would support that decision if we asked him.

I'm almost starting to believe myself the theory that this decision by Trump will bring about the rebuilding of the holy temple and kick start the end of days.
Russian intervention last year to ensure Trump got the presidency looking like it's actually true.
A number of Trumps top team are implicated including his son in law (meetings with Russians in Bulgaria etc) and the FBI have issued a mandatory request to the German state Bank for details of Trumps financial affairs which Trump had been denying access too since the start.
As soon as it started to hit the fan last week he, out the blue, began talk of the Jerusalem thing.

I see trouble ahead.
Wonder what Corbin will have to say on the matter, what with him being anti Semitic and all that.😏
Trump might come across as a complete cock, but he knows how to keep his pals in the global armaments industry happy.
Nothing more than a distraction tactic from the now inevitable Russia subpoenas for the inner circle.
edit. A distraction that will undoubtedly lead to deaths (if it hasn’t already. Sounds like it’s starting to kick off).
She was elected to be the (then new) leader of the Tory party when David Cameron resigned. The Tory party at that time had been elected as the governing party.
this has been the way politics has worked for a very long time in Britain. we don’t vote for a Prime Minister. Like her or loath her (personally I think she’s useless), she was elected.
oh oh! .... :paranoid:
haaanggg on! when it was pointed out that those Britain 1st tweets were fake news (videos weren't from the UK) he said it was OK because it was "the message" that was important so it didn't matter his tweets were based on Fake news!
must say he has me confused now
:greengrin
PS. thanks for the correction, I couldn't remember the bank's name
Trump is trying to stir up trouble, he’s hoping for an attack on the US to justify his travel ban.
That's not the problem though. The problem isn't whether or not there's a case to be made for Jerusalem being the capital of Israel, the problem is when to go about discussing that. Its a bone of contention between the Palestinians and Israel and its status would have been an important part of any settlement brought about by negotiation ... by doing what he's done Trump has basically told the Palestinians the status of the city isn't up for negotiation and that the US recognises Israel's claim to it in its entirety. There is no way the Palestinians were going to accept that and Trump must have known the trouble it would cause when he made his ill advised and stupid decision, he has set back the prospect of America brokering peace between the Israelis and Palestinians by years.
Well I think there is an argument appeasing the Palestinians and the wider Islamic world in regards to Jeruselam is waste of time. There has been no real peace since 1960's, so why continue down the same route?
If the Palestinians can't accept that Jerusalem is Jewish then why should Israel pander to them? Pandering to the Palestinians over Jerusalem has not worked so far so maybe this is the right move and will bring peace over the long term.
Why the F would we or should we ask him??? :confused:it's none of his business as is his statement to make Jerusalem the capital of Israel, there are many more counties areas and religions in that region that should have the right to this discussion before him!
So if he decided Brussels should be the new capital of Finland it would be OK because someone asked him?
It all seems a bit ridiculous to me , this debate has been going longer than most of us have been alive .
Surely the sensible solution would be that the israelis and palestinians can share jerusalem as their capital , rather than spend a lifetime fighting over it
Religion baffles me in these situations
