Them winning at Ibrox is a win, win situation...

I hope they draw with Rangers on Saturday. Another fixture to add to the list would be worse than a defeat for them
I think the best/most composed midfielder out of the bottom three teams is the Saints captain & no16 Foley
Foley's also the best leader of any of the bottom 3, a real leader, unlike Naismith who comes across as more of a gobby wee bully, which is a disaster for morale & totally counter productive when you're already in the shXt as a team.
I reckon the best defender out of the bottom three teams is Gogic of Hamilton
I reckon the most dangerous creative player out of the bottom 3 is Durmis, the Saints winger (matchwinner last night & gave SDG a torrid time at ER)
Boyce is the best predator, but that's not much use if you can't get the ball to him in the opposition's box often enough.
I think Hearts are going down here
It doesn't matter what we all think. We could all think that they'll sink and never be heard of again, but that might not happen.
You think they're doomed. I think they'll survive.
Also, they're not further adrift at the bottom. They're 2 points behind Hamilton with a game in hand and exactly the same goal difference.
If people are confident that hearts will fail, you can get 11/2 for them finishing bottom.
Best you'll get for Hamilton is only 8/11.
Of their six remaining games before the split only one is really winnable with some certainty not to say they might pick more points - Ross County at home.
They would have to win 4 out if 5 of their post split fixtures to stand a chance of avoiding the play off with two of those games likely to relegation dog fights. Seems a tall order with them having won only 3 games this season.
I'm not sure I'd see it as sticking up for Hearts. More a case of finding it hard to believe that with all the cash they've had thrown at them that they won't find a way to scrape clear of the drop. Doesn't mean we don't all see them as utterly pathetic for finding themselves in this situation.
Personally I suspect they may just creep ahead of Accies, but as the games count down and the likes of St Mirren and Ross County start to pull away I'm finding it hard to see them do any more than that. Play-off would be my bet at this stage. Hopefully I'm wrong though and straight relegation awaits them.
If they had more quality they wouldn't currently be bottom and three matches adrift of 10th safety.
There was an old sitcom on ITV called "Never Mind The Quality, Feel The Width" some of us aging Boomers might remember. Well they have neither the quality nor the width
:faf:
Bugger off with the stick up for hearts rubbish. Are the bookies sticking up for hearts?
No, if course not. No-one is sticking up for anyone. We're crystal ball gazing.
I choose to have nothing to do with hearts supporters either in person or online so fill your boots if that's your thing.
No-one is stopping you.
I think people are more looking at the past and the size of the club, and not taking into account how bad they are.
I just think its a bit of a slight on the mentality of Hibs fans that we assume Hearts will be safe and indeed beat us in the game coming up (as some have said). You wouldn't get this from Hearts fans, who always see us as dreadful regardless of the situation. I would like us to have a similar mentality towards them. And I started going in the 80s so I do understand why we think the way we do. But they are bad at the moment, really bad.
If Marcel Langer is the answer. What is the question?
St Mirren have developed into a decent looking side, far better than Hearts, reckon they'll take at least 4 out of the 6 points.
But I reckon Hamilton will finish bottom, can't see them pulling away with the games they have left.
Hope it's Dundee they face in the play offs. Can you imagine Robbo and ICT sending them down? He would bottle it.
