Not a fan of the Steven Fletcher suggestions. He was a great player and a top pro, but he’ would be 39 by the end of the season, and is 3 years older than Dwight Gayle who’s hanging up his boots (4 years older than Gayle when he signed for us)
I think Gayle has proven that an aging top player can be a great addition, but I think around 33-34 rather than 38 needs to be the age bracket.

There's not many out of contract players I would take that would be within a reasonable budget for what they could offer us.
