Ok, I am posting on my phone so cant update things easily.
Whodatters select TE Vernon Davis 49rs :aok:
Other thread is up to date - Calvin next so see you all again tomorrow! :aok:
This seems broken. Haymaker has 5 picks. Some people only have 3 or 4. I'm guessing some rascal added Tebow on his behalf. ;)
Haha! It is inevitable!
Lol. That's why we post picks here as well, as a backup in case some juvenile messes around with someone else's picks. It won't be long before a certain Mr. Charles will be home where he belongs.
Sorry, Tebow was me - I was intending to change it back quickly but got distracted watching the Tims vs Elfsborg game! :greengrin
:I'm waiti:I'm waiti:I'm waiti.
Sorry peeps, been working late nightshifts so just up.
Frank Gore - RB 49ers.
Was looking at who people have drafted and thought, wait a minute, no-ones drafted Michael Turner so I'll take him, only to discover he's a free agent and without a team. Why?.
Hakeem nicks nyg
Reggie Bush, RB, Detroit.
Edit: can someone update the other thread please?
I select....
RG3:redindian:
Still some very good QBs out there, Eli and Joe Flacco straight off.
...I'd also be happy with Matt Ryan or Matthew Stafford as my starter. There's about 15 QBs who have a realistic shot at the being the leagues best passer IMO. You can't say that about running backs or receivers where you really have to draft one of the big names.
Hi8sry up next.
Much like the QBs, there are still a lot of good receivers still out there but TEs are dropping away!
Picking QBs early is crazy but having missed out on the best RBss I took a chance.
What the hell does he know?! And there is always... Tebow!
Kyle Rudolph TE
Minnesota Vikings :aok:
QB - Matt Ryan - Atlanta
WR - Marques Colston - New Orleans
Torrey Smith WR Ravens
Slight concern that Colston is on the PUP list but according to Payton it's nothing serious and he just needs rest. Surprised he fell to the 5th round in all honesty!
Delighted to have landed Ryan as my QB - the Falcons are (IMO) a team capable of getting to the Big Dance this year and with the receiving corps of Gonzalez, White and Jones, I'm happy to have him on board
WR Golden Tate, Seattle.
As my flex guy.
Sergios next :aok:
Eric Decker, WR, Broncos
Could not choose between three receivers.....
Danny Amendola - Good receiver bit injury prone. But NE haven't much else to catch the ball.
The other thread is just a reference because its easier than scanning the thread for the last. Just keep making your picks here. the other thread will be updated in due course.[/QU
will do.cheers.
He's getting on a bit but reckon Steve Smith has one more year in him so I'm going; Steve Smith, WR, Panthers.
Guess we can wait until tomorrow to come back as Calvin's pick is next... :greengrin
its no as bad as i thought it would be.thought it would have took longer.ive got a ranking board on the nfl site so im deleting players as they're picked.its a good way to keep track of whos been drafted.the only pitfall is it doesnt show the players bye week.
We need to find out what time Calvin starts work at tomorrow and hopefully have it back around to him before he goes.
Whodatters select the always fit and healthy  Darren McFadden RB Oakland
Going to gamble again as he was injured last season... Greg Jennings as my 3rd WR
DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas for my flex spot please
HibsMax will log in using his actual account and pick a player who's not already been selected... :greengrin
Vernon Davis has been drafted three times now :tee hee:
Thanks Admin. I picked Tony Gonzalez (TE) (ATL)
I feel more nervous about this year's draft than last year's. I didn't know what I was doing last year so picking high ranked players just made sense. That still holds true but I now know that high ranked players can tank and low ranked players can be stand outs. So even though I am using cheat sheets it's not clear that I am making the right choices. Who knows? It's a crap shoot for the most part.
cabbage and redskins select dwayne bowe and david wilson
Mike Wallace, WR (Miami)
I'll take my boy from last year
Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit
I select...
Seattle Seahawks D.
Whodatters select - Ahmad Bradshaw RB Colts
I had my eye on Bradshaw as well but I had him last year and he was hampered with some injuries. Could have a good year but not "dammit" upset about missing him.
It'll just be a website's rankings - nfl.com, espn (Matthew Berry's are always worth a look), CBS etc all have their own fantasy experts who rank players. It's handy enough for judging what round a player should be drafted, however they'll never be 100 percent accurate. E.g My best player last year was Doug Martin who I picked up in Round 8, whilst Stafford and MJD who I drafted in rounds 2 and 3 were disappointing relative to the round I picked them up in.
