It would be good for Zurich to get Man Utd or Arsenal and another decent team in their group and they get
Some teams in the sticks of European football
With Clug the big team as they won’t bring big crowds

Yon Jorge Grant chappie must be amongst the jambos most costly signings ever :greengrin
Good post . Apart McKay who I sadly thinks a really good player and GORDAN who has saved them time and time again I don't see any of the rest of them as world beaters there deluded fans think they are btw . Getting our act together is the one as dons and a few others will be hopeful off . Personally I don't think we are too far away . A couple of decent signings and things just to click Abit . I have a lot of faith in new management team at us and think we are on the right track:flag:
Hearts lost 3 on the bounce. Knives out.
They had a bad run at the end of last season. Drew with Ross Co then lost last 3 in the league and then the cup final.
This season, scraped a win against Ross Co. draw with us, win at Dundee Utd then the 3 losses. That makes it 2 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses in the last 11 competitive games.
Anyone know when hearts last won a European game?
It's undoubtedly good. But it'll be closer to 3 as they will get pumped. The ticket sales will cover travel money probably.
It's the same money as selling one of your better players without having to sell them, like us and Aberdeen have done this summer. Thing is they picked up a suspended player for Sundays game and one injured. The extra games will take there toll. I reckon due to the extra games quite a few teams will finish 3rd then lower the next season due to Europe.
I'm sure us, Aberdeen, Well ect will get a shot in the next few years. Its still a dull one losing a few million for 1 game that you should have won, if only Boyce or forrest didn't miss sitters eh
FC Zurich are still rooted to the bottom of the Swiss Super League having failed to win a league game so far this season, scoring one goal and conceding 10.
Question, have Hertz been relegated or demoted to the Conference League?Just so I get the terminology right with all the Hertz fans today at work
Three really famous proud defeats in a row now for the Jambos. Just keep on losing games of football. Proud though.
They can be extra proud at the nature of their exit. Despite having the best of the first half against really poor opposition, miss a sitter and then get a man sent off for cheating, the most ridiculous dive since Amadou Konte against Celtic. Then the bbc lose the picture and troll the viewer with a dawn chorus of birdsong.
Almost perfect.
Just seen the teams that they can get.
I actually thought the Conference League would have more exciting locations for away days. I was thinking the likes of Betis in Seville, Lazio in Rome, Bordeaux, Feyenoord in Rotterdam etc.
Not a great bunch of ties tbh. Florence would be a good trip, Nice probably would have been as well but they’re in the same pot, other than that it’s all quite far afield, cold and miserable for most of them.
The conference league is a breath of fresh air. Look at some of the teams that are in it compared to some of the pishy clubs in the champions league who are in it purely due to financial muscle. The only thing really annoying as Hearts are probably going to get at least quality away trip
As a fan, you want the glamourous games. They've missed out on Europa, but West Ham,Lech Poznan and Fiorentina trips would still be a lot of fun. Despite mocking them I'm still slightly jealous
In the Linfield summary on the BBC website it talks about them missing out on a “£2.4m windfall” for not getting to the group stages.
So is it the usual over inflation of Jambometrics that they say they would have had £5m ? 🤷
