We hope you enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's day, we're celebrating too as we have lots of great offers we hope you'll like.
Why would they assume that everybody who is registered with them celebrates St Patrick's Day?
Stupid or what?

Just an excuse to try and get folk to buy moe beer IMO - it's the same with every "holiday"
You read that and it bothered you so much you started a thread on .net about it???
The OP has a valid point.
I hate all this nonsense where people are looking to profit from every date in the calander. St. Patricks day is now fair game as we don't need much of an excuse to get rat-ersed in Scotland. I think it's only going to get worse where you're going to be made to feel guilty if you don't buy whiskey on St.Andrews day or buy beer to celebrate St.Georges day.
Valentines, Easter, Haloween etc...never used to mean much in the way of gifts even ten years ago and it was all about non-material gestures.
Nowadays it's as if they're trying to make you feel like an inconsiderate loser with a small tadge if you don't buy your other half a bunch of flowers and I-pad 2 to celebrate the changing of the clocks.
But surely the equivalent would be St Andrew's day?
As for Burns, there's nothing worse than a bad Burns supper - and I've been to a few. However good ones (generally run by Burns clubs) with speakers and singers who know their stuff can be an absolute hoot, not to mention the cultural enlightenment.
In my opinion of course.
Ha, fair enough. Didn't bother me at all, just curious that's all.
I'm out in America at uni, and the people here go mental for it. After all, they are all 'Irish' so they claim. 'Cos their great grandparents uncles wife was Irish they are all half Irish.
