We have clear winners in both competitions, with John McDermott winning
the Internet Competition this quarter, and Pat McKinney winning the
member's competition. The runners up were Colin Morrison and Iain Tully. In the first of a series of totally irrelevant statistics which I'll
only update if I've got nothing else to do, your best prediction week so far
occurred with the Aberdeen game on 27/11/99 when, in the Internet
competition 4 predicted the correct score (2-0!) and 19 of you predicted the
correct result.
The members did even better with 10 correct score predictions, and 16
getting the result correct. Did anyone have money on the result?
3
entrants, Les Rennie in the Member's competition and Eric LaVanchy
and Richard Yardley in the Internet Comp all predicted the correct 0-4 score
in the Celtic game! Hardly very patriotic! <g>
In week
18, only David Smith predicted the correct score against Motherwell,
with 6 members and 4 internet entrants predicting the result correctly.
