Treasurers
Report
Although
our turnover decreased this year by 500, we ended the year with a
surplus of 9.80. Subscriptions remained over 1,200 and our annual
POTY turnover increased to over 2,100. Our new venture in mail order
merchandise was a great success. We advertised in the Fanzine and on our
Web Page, this brought in over 500 in sales to places such as Germany,
Canada, USA as well as in the UK.
Our
profit came from Subscriptions of over 1,200, POTY of over 600 and
our Hibs Score Prediction competition made a profit of over 80 as the
prizes were paid for in the last financial year. Our Fanzine made over
100 with stock in retailers to be collected when the next issue is
produced and our Burns Night broke even.
Our
main expenditure this year was in Merchandise, on which we spent over 2,000.
We still have a supply of stock in hand which will raise revenue next
year. As ever, Hibernian F.C. were well-supported in 2000/01 by
investments of 1,083 in direct purchases which included Season
Tickets, Player Sponsorship and Almond Suite membership and with
indirect purchases of our POTY bash of over 1,700. Our postage costs
were down as we now only post to members who do not have e-mail.
We
also donated 50 to charity.
The
cash available at 1st June is 780.94.
Apfscil/Football
Team
No
update
from APFSCIL and Grant Ramsay continues to be our representative
and Kevin Robertson continues to be on the APFSCIL committee.
The
APFSCIL league Division one shield was proudly displayed at the meeting
which the London Hibs football team won for the second year in a row.
David Drysdale will take over the management of the football team from
Kevin. Kevin will continue to report back the progress of the team
during the new season. Good luck lads we want another 100% which we hope
will include the Cup. For all you fit London
Hibees out there the team is always looking for new players.
Fanzine
Mike
Inglis was given a 100% vote to carry on with the great work on the
fanzine. (But if anyone is dying to take over and avoid a divorce (mine
that is) email [email protected])
Rose and Alex will also help with collecting articles. If you have any
articles etc please do send them to us. Due to the internet coverage it
has been decided to have one issue in the year.
Many
thanks again to everyone who contributed and sold the last fanzine. Why
not try to beat Roses record of selling twenty fanzines in five
minutes. Mind you the low cut top did help....More
