Meeting Held on 13th April 1999

 

The meeting on Tuesday 13th April celebrated Hibs return to the top flight. Andrew Murray reported a healthy balance sheet, and we welcomed 2 new members, Craig Benison and Rose McEwan (who found out about the club when she met Tony Connor on the train going to an Arsenal game!). Craig has arranged to meet the team before the Morton game on 24th April as a birthday treat so look out for a report and photos later.

Iain Tully (below left - as if you need that info) announced to the meeting that his Brazilian girlfriend (whom he met at the Holyrood whilst watching the Scotland v Brazil game in last year's World Cup) has accepted his marriage proposal so maybe we will be able to bring you his wedding photos to this Web Site (but only if he wears Hibs tartan!). Also, maybe in around 20 years time, may we see a player with Brazilian blood turning out for the Hibees??

We raffled a Hibs CD and it was won by David Smith.
