well done Scotland :saltireflag Scotland win World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2021 - World Curling Federation Scotland win World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2021
Great performance in the PGA. Always liked him as a golfer.
Been following this league all season, and even though bit deflated after yesterday, here's hoping for a Lille win.
First round of qualifying kicks off today - Hendry v White. I know neither have a chance but still interesting to see these guys slug it out. Live on Eurosport at 7.30pm
Great winning performance from Anderson v Michael Smith, 108 average.
Anyone see it today? Vinales jumping off his bike at 140mph as his brakes failed 😲 Great restart race of 12 laps won on the last corner in a 3 bike contest. Brilliant stuff.
Cheltenham Races starts today and gives us a welcome four day distraction from the daily Lockdown drudgery I thought it would be a good idea to start the annual thread with any tips and recommendations ( reasoning and logic welcome ) over the next four days I know absolutely hee haw about...
Anderson loses 10-9 to Dirk Van Duijvenbode.
I’m watching this on tv the now. They’re interviewing athletes in masks right after the race, they’re struggling to breathe ffs. Can they not leave it 5 minutes.
Anyone else been watching the snooker? The QF Higgins v Ronnie just now is a frightening standard. Shaping up to be a classic. C’mon John!

Grand Slam tennis returns but not as we know it. The Australian Open players and officials had to quarantine for 2 weeks upon their arrival in the country, some of them were fortunate in that they were allowed out for a few hours each day however some players had to remain in their room full...
Starts on Friday night @ 1900 on ITV4, looks like a cracking tournament.

It is nearly upon us. The usual suspects(Wright, Price and Van Gerwin) will be the favourites but it seems more open than ever. Just outside the big 3 you have Michael Smith, van den Burgh, Peterson, Aspinall, Anderson, Wade, Durrant, and de Sausa as potential winners. Also the likes of Heta and...
Good documentary available on the iplayer, not sure how long for.
PGA Sony Open in Hawaii starts tomorrow. Big field and lots of potential winners. A smallish number of top players, large number of tour journeymen and some no hopers mixed into this one. Good luck to anyone else having a bet and for throughout the rest of 2019.
What a performance from Butler and Malan as England completed a clean sweep in the T20 series against South Africa tonight. That sets them up nicely for the three ODIs , first one on Friday.
Maybe not the right place for it but huge crash at the start of the F1. Grojean’s car cut in half on the barrier and burst in to a ball of flames. Yet he walks away with what appear to be minor injuries. Incredible.
Very high standard being set on day 1 (live coverage on ITV4).
Started today on Sky sports arena. Rob Cross beat Justin Pipe and Chizzy beat Luke Humphreys in the first 2 games.
Who you fancying? Tiger at 30/1 always worth a punt at Augusta. Dechambeau favourite but fancy Justin Thomas myself 👍
Khabib greatest of all time. Followed by GSP. Thoughts?
Andy Murray has a tough start to his French Open campaign against Stan Wawrinka. Currently 4-1 down, first set.
Anyone see him on breakfast TV this morning? He looked pissed or drugged, but certainly nowhere near right enough to get anywhere near a boxing ring. 😳
Sad to hear of the death of Dean Jones at the age of only 59. I wasn’t into cricket seriously until I spent three months travelling in Australia in my late teens. In Australia, depending on where you stay, your ethnic background etc, you might be into Aussie Rules, rugby league, rugby union,...
Just finished watching this having recorded it on the TiVo box about 6 weeks ago. First half covers the rise of England's Test team to number one in the world and the second half deals with the mental side of the game. It's a fascinating watch. It was on BBC2 but, doesn't appear on the iPlayer...
Andy Murray starts his tournament against Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan. The match has not long started and is live on Amazon Prime.
Tremendous comeback from England to take the first game by 2 runs.
Anyone tried calculating their handicap using the new system? I’m in a really long poor run of form. Frightening.
Its astounding how much Friday night rugby has taken off in Glasgow. I attended their match v Munster a couple of weeks ago and was impressed with both the set up and general atmosphere at Scotstoun stadium. The game was a total sell out and match tickets are becoming increasingly difficult to...
Looking at taking a few golf lessons and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for Lothians/Edinburgh area. I've never had a lesson before so wouldn't know where to start. Thanks!
Andy Murray's playing his first competitive tennis for 9 months just now as he plays Francis Tiafoe at the Cincinnati Masters. Currently 5-5 in the first set, it's live on Amazon Prime if anyone's interested.
Anyone been watching so far? It started yesterday with some fans in attendance but from today it's behind closed doors after the UK government banned spectators from attending any live events. They haven't followed football's lead by playing fake fan noise so it's a bit weird just having...
Off to a flyer with the games tonight. All the games were decent, but the final match between MVG and Klassen was the highlight. There was no handshake at the start or at the end, they obviously don’t like each other and MVG confirmed that in his interview. Klassen could and should be a top ten...
Now that all the places have been taken up I Thought it would be better to start a new thread with this. The Draft: The draft will be an offline draft made on this thread and i will input the players into the appropriate teams once the draft is complete. I think the draft will be the most...
Anyone else watching the BBC's greatest men's Wimbledon finals in history? 2008 final on just now between Federer and Nadal - in my opinion the greatest tennis match ever played. Can't believe it was 12 years ago now!
Died aged 66. Bit before my time in a playing capacity although heard him plenty of times as a commentator. It didn't sound good yesterday when it was announced he was suffering respiratory problems and had to be placed into an induced coma.
Having critisised other countries for making playing too restrictive, Djokovic organised his own tournament and has ended up with the virus along with three others who took part.
