Well, my last positivity thread of the 2024/25 season. When I posted the first (copied below) after Rocky's late late goal against Aberdeen there wasn't much positivity on Hibs.net. What a contrast with today!

Hibees positivity thread ahead of Motherwell game (https://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?368883-Hibees-positivity-thread-ahead-of-Motherwell-game&highlight=Hibees+positivity)

I always felt that we had been sorely punished by a long run of individual errors along with some shocking VAR decisions. I believed that we had been the better team in many games, but sadly capitulated at the wrong time typically late in the game (or early in the case of the Dundee game). However, the salvaging of a precious point late in the game against Aberdeen was really the first time that luck went our way. For the first time this season, I saw reasons to be positive.

I must admit that I did not see us ending up in 3rd place with a game to go, having beaten Hearts (home and away), Aberdeen (home and away), Dundee United (home and away), The Rangers (away) and Celtic (home). Tomorrow, we have the chance to beat The Rangers, home and away. With the support of a large Hibernian FC support, I'm confident that we'll end the season with a win.

We can enjoy tomorrow and just go for it - no pressure on us at all.

This for me too. I would love to see us just come out and take it to them from the start, right in their faces from the word go, win the ball back when they have it and look to play it forward at every opportunity. OK that might leave us open, but I'm convinced if we play like that and they aren't up for it we can take a few off them.

Got 0 - 0 written all over it :greengrin

Played well and won against Rangers last time at Ibrox.

Let’s continue where we left off as we played well 2nd half.

A home win to end this amazing season would be brilliant and with 4 sides of the stadium with Hibs fans, the crowd will be fully behind the team till the final whistle.

Go out and enjoy the day but also show everyone why we are unbeaten at Easter Road in 2025 and for a long time!

It would be great to end the season with a win against the Huns but regardless of result I hope fans stay and clap teh team at teh end of teh game as they do teh lap. They have really earned it this year

A double over the Huns this weekend home and at Ibrox will round off the season perfectly. The Huns have sold 4000 tickets for Sunday

If it wasn’t the huns I would say the result is totally irrelevant. Whilst it’s a party either way I really hope we wipe the entitled smiles off their faces.

Today is a celebration of all things Hibs.

These last 6 months have probably been my favourite period of watching Hibs.

In November going to the game at ER felt like a chore, but by Christmas, I was looking forward to the next home game and weekends without Hibs were often rather boring.

let's cap the season off by beating that mob.

An actual, bona fide free hit today rather than the pretendy ones when we could actually do with a result.

Go and get at them. They are there for the taking. If we lose then so what? I'd rather lose 4-2 and have a real go today than lose 1-0 and try to contain them. Obviously I'd rather win but you know what I mean.

Will Defo have Sunshine on Leith today - probably in more ways than one

The Rangers Defence is woeful

Wee Barry is a Greeting Torag - lets give him something more to moan about

There will be less of them in ER than Normal

Home stands rocking and big chunk of south (getting prepped for nights like AEK :cb)

Not Boyle's last game (lets make sure Rocky & Nectar know we want them @ ER next season)

I think we’ll struggle today. 4-1 Hibs.
