Well, my last positivity thread of the 2024/25 season. When I posted the first (copied below) after Rocky's late late goal against Aberdeen there wasn't much positivity on Hibs.net. What a contrast with today!
Hibees positivity thread ahead of Motherwell game (https://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?368883-Hibees-positivity-thread-ahead-of-Motherwell-game&highlight=Hibees+positivity)
I always felt that we had been sorely punished by a long run of individual errors along with some shocking VAR decisions. I believed that we had been the better team in many games, but sadly capitulated at the wrong time typically late in the game (or early in the case of the Dundee game). However, the salvaging of a precious point late in the game against Aberdeen was really the first time that luck went our way. For the first time this season, I saw reasons to be positive.
I must admit that I did not see us ending up in 3rd place with a game to go, having beaten Hearts (home and away), Aberdeen (home and away), Dundee United (home and away), The Rangers (away) and Celtic (home). Tomorrow, we have the chance to beat The Rangers, home and away. With the support of a large Hibernian FC support, I'm confident that we'll end the season with a win.
