Sadly, I think the point has been made a few times this week - we’ve got players who are probably going to be decent enough to keep us in that 5th - 12th rump of teams. This season is about avoiding relegation.

We had a poor start but this season is still about European qualification for me.

Games against Rangers/Celtic don't count though. Should have played the reserves, certainly shouldn't have played Gayle - if he can only contribute sporadically we needed him for Motherwell.

Hopefully the early goals take the sting out the game and we can avoid red cards and further injuries.

Bushiri & Miller in the team ain't the solution long term. Surely everyone knows this.

My fear was and still is that we need to get to 32-35 asap. This group of players is clearly capable of going on another dodgy 10-12 run which will put us in trouble again.

Recruiting better defenders is clearly the priority in the next 2 windows
