Sums up really. One of the few games this league campaign where we had neither of the above and funnily enough we dominate the game and won by 3 goals.

Just on that the Ref I think deserves a bit of credit for not being card happy like some of the other ones we have had , don’t think there was a player on either side booked today was there ? 🤔

I think if folk are saying he was **** today then they simply just don't like him as a player full stop. Definitely had a good game.

I thought Triantis was our best player today. Picked up nearly every loose ball in the middle of the park, made a lot of big tackles and just set the tone for us for me. He needed a performance as, after a promising start he’d been poor lately.

Just seen the highlights and absolutely delighted, looked like a great performance going forward, clean sheet also a bonus.

How did Triantis and Newell play?

Off the bottom for now, will be difficult next game out but the past two performances show we do have the quality to trouble teams.


Both done well today, Newell less influential in possession but done a power of work off the ball and Triantis was excellent today. Best game in a Hibs shirt imo for him.

First I have seen, I thought Hoilett's goal was really good, really well taken, not sure it was as simple as relayed on here. First time on a while I have followed game on here as well as Sportsound to keep up so always interesting to see reality against perception :-)

I also thought Myko's goal was better than described, he absolutely bashed his way in there making sure he was getting it, proper strikers goal.

Good feelings all round from those highlights.

Same about both goals. Thought Myko reacted really well and smashed it home. For comparison, if that was Vente I don't think he would've been in the same position as Myko was.

Great result to build on point from Aberdeen game just a pity it’s Celtic away next as would of preferred a game we could win to really start moving away from bottom two places
But we have shown resilience and ability to take a lead and hold it
Some thing that didn’t seem possible few weeks back

Hells bells mate. Every time something like this happens we get a comment like that. The absolute fact is that no manager, no matter who he is, is going to escape heavy criticism from the fans of any club with a record of 1 win in 14 matches. The regard David Gray is held in is shown by the fact that the crowd at ER haven't been singing songs wanting him sacked. If it had been anybody else the stands would have been ringing with it by now.

So lets not start getting all superior now over fans who's criticism was entirely justified because for the first time this season we have managed a decent win, we are a long way from being out of the woods just yet.
