Youan is playing better than Boyle. Would love Boyle to hit form but he’s been quiet last 2 games.

Team looks more about not losing than winning - considering all the chat after Wednesday was middle to front - taking out the X factor of Youan feels like our play will be more predictable- let’s see but it feels like that.

If we waste time in possession making too many unnecessary passes in our build up play, then Dundee Utd will have the time they need to be well organized in defence, limiting us to half chances at best. If the players move the ball slickly enough and stick to making passes that progress the play effectively, then Dundee Utd won't have enough time to be fully organized, allowing us to create far more effective chances. It all comes down to how we approach the game.

Playing well at Ibrox ranks as our greatest achievement of the season currently.

We need to drop the idea that "spreading the play around" when in possession will somehow open up the opposition defence. It won't. It will only give their defence the time they need to be fully organized behind the ball. We need to be quick in possession, cutting out the unnecessary passes and getting the ball down the field as quickly as possible in order to catch their defences out. It's the only way we're going to create effective chances from open play, rather than being limited to half chances.
