If Triantis was a Hibs player I’d be in favour of sending him out on loan to learn the game a bit and get the daft stuff out his system before coming back a better player, ready to play first team football.
Instead - we’re the destination where he’s going to make those mistakes in readiness for him going elsewhere to be a better player.
Definitely has something about him, definitely not the answer to our CH problems right now.

just typical negative posting - we equalise, get a decent point and are denied a pen by VAR but folk still prefer to have a go? given the lift they had with their comeback midweek, plus Warnock coming in, many of us would see this as a good result.
were the subs that odd? replaced like for like with you / Jair - only thing you could argue would be why he didn't bring Vente on - maybe that was affected by having to sub Marshall?
it's be great if we could acknowledge that it's not a disaster of a result at all, and if we can beat Dundee next week, then we have a right good chance of top 6 and push on after. does my head in why folk have to be so negative all the time

We have only won 2 in a row once this season.
Since all the new players / transfer window closed.
Played 5 games - we have 2 points out of 15.
St Mirren was a must win - didn’t win it.
Aberdeen was a must win - didn’t win it.
We don’t even deserve top 6 as can’t win meaningful games.I think your last comment is nonsense to be honest
We can't win any game [emoji23]
Altho was last weekend not meaningful?
If we make top 6 of course we will deserve it
Win next week and it's entirely possible - it's outs us 3 behind Dundee and 5 behind St Mirren with a game in hand
Haven't we only played 3 league games since the window closed?

just typical negative posting - we equalise, get a decent point and are denied a pen by VAR but folk still prefer to have a go? given the lift they had with their comeback midweek, plus Warnock coming in, many of us would see this as a good result.
were the subs that odd? replaced like for like with you / Jair - only thing you could argue would be why he didn't bring Vente on - maybe that was affected by having to sub Marshall?
it's be great if we could acknowledge that it's not a disaster of a result at all, and if we can beat Dundee next week, then we have a right good chance of top 6 and push on after. does my head in why folk have to be so negative all the time
We need top six football. On that basis its a really poor result and makes Dundee up next a must win. Then its the derby.

Maybe just reality…with St Mirren, Dundee, Killie (whose manager is flying) and our rivals above us (24 points now - which is 8 wins ahead of us but in reality they have won 10 more games than us this season).
We were 1-0 up then 2-1 down.
Warnock only beating Bonnyrigg - and supposedly they played crap.
Were 3-0 down against Motherwell.
Aberdeen have been as bad as us and the result today didn’t suit anyone expect teams above us.

Totally agree with you. There's definitely more dig and forward momentum with the players referred to, and we are still at times vulnerable at the back, but that has been for some seasons now. Nick definitely deserves into next season to continue assessing, bringing better quality players in, and building on improvement. Change will happen anyway, and I hope Nick gets the opportunity to show he is the man to optimise it. Delighted with the comeback. Shows spirit and backbone.

That decision was farcical.
It wasn't even a deflection or a ricochet. Shinnie clearly kicked the ball out the park FFS. I refuse to believe that was due the incompetence of the ref and the linesman. it's not possible to be that incompetent. Can only be blatant cheating.

of course we need to win, no one is denying we're not in a good position. but your argument to get rid doesn't guarantee it'll get better though. Dons fans wanted rid - so far Warnock (who many on here said is the kind of appointment we should make, no nonsense, shout and bawl, good motivator, experienced etc etc) has drawn 2, lost one and beaten league 2 Bonnyrigg at home. in that same period we won a tricky away tie against a championship ICT, were unlucky to get beaten by Celtic and played well, and get a draw away from home.
players have come back from international duty, new players are bedding in. we can't change what's gone before and we have a huge game against Dundee who we're unbeaten against so far this season. maybe a bit of perspective is called for and for us to accept that the last 3 games have shown an improvement and with the potential to build on it. folk wanted him to change tactics and he's done that, now folk want him gone because we've drawn at Aberdeen? get an effing grip eh?

All the talk of 433 being the way forward and like you say, again we've scored 2 and failed to win.
Our defence isn't good enough. Can't defend simple balls into the box and switch off too often.
In terms of the upcoming home games, there is no way we take 12 points from 4. Even the best Hibs teams couldn't manage that.

its a little odd to focus on that given we got back into the game though? my main gripe wasn't with you it was with the guy responding to you who then escalates things by stating monty should be sacked for the subs / only getting a point. I guess I'm just tired of folk focussing on negatives per se. of course you have a right to an opinion if you thought the subs weakened us, but in there absence of it being balanced with anything positive it just lends itself to more negativity. maybe best for my mental health to take a break from here...

For all we’ve signed some good attacking players, before we did that we had a terrible habit of scoring two goals and failing to win. We still have that habit.

Excuse after excuse for this lot at the moment and it's baffling.
We cannot defend for ***** and gave up 22 shots to an atrocious Aberdeen side, if they could finish their tea today we'd have been beaten long before we even got our equaliser. If we go into next weekend with those two at centre half together then he wants the sack at that point.
I think quite a few of there 22 shots hit a few seagulls btw .
Just watched the highlights, jeezo how bad is our defending, Triantis and Miller particularly poor and Fish is as bad as them at times. Definite penalty for us, how they got away with that is baffling but Marshall wiping out Miovski we got away with that too, so balances it out. Still trying to figure out why Triantis was his main target, he's a bomb scare at the back.

12 on target.

You’ve been listening to Warnock. Marshall didn’t wipe out Miovski, he clearly punches the ball away before the contact. What is he meant to do, stand back and let him head it in unopposed? If he hadn’t made the challenge he would have been pilloried on here.

I just read the bbc match report, the reporter, Andrew Petrie must be a dons fan. No mention of the handball and insinuating that they should have had a pen for Marshall chinning Miovski when he clearly punched the ball

Yeah and we had 5 though they were more direct and played a lot more long balls than us I felt . The stats of 22 shots thats been mentioned doesn't give an accurate account of the game imo though.

Shocked
I’ve stopped listening to sportsound if I’m ever out in the car on a hibs away day.
It’s brutal

I never said it was a penalty but it could easily have been given for dangerous play, Miovski gets his head to the ball 1st before Marshall punches it clear but he still makes contact with his fist on his head.

After a shaky start against Celtic Triantis was good I thought. Neat and tidy on the ball and won his battles.
Still, not sure he’s someone I’d be building a defence around at this point in time.

For my money this was a decent point on the road and further indication after good performances vs Celtic and Inverness that Monty is starting to get a handle on things.
We continue to leak goals and that is a concern. However, the spirit and tenacity shown to come back and claim a point at a difficult venue is encouraging.
The performance vs St Mirren a few weeks back was abysmal - as had been the three or four before that. If we had not improved on that I would be deeply concerned and joining in with the the pelters. But improve we have.
We now have a series of fixtures that look very winnable on paper - let's see where we stand after these games before getting out the long knives.

Agree. Never felt at any point that they’d had as many “shots” as the stats show. Marshall must have had about 2 or 3 saves to make at most. Wollacot didn’t have anything to do after coming on

Couldn't agree more
