I think the rules are a shambles regardless of whether there is an agenda against Hibs.

Handball is one of them where you sometimes don't remember what the rule is when swapping between Champions League/Premier League/La Liga because the rules have been different throughout the last 10 years and there has been zero consistency in them.

I also think the clear and obvious error rule in VAR is a nonsense that allows situations like today to happen where they can hide behind the fact they couldn't definitively prove it didn't hit his upper sleeve and we're in a situation now where Refs aren't making brave decisions on field in the hope VAR catches them, but then VAR doesn't overturn it, and this doesn't do anyone any good whatsoever.

For the record I think it was a penalty, I think the ball was low enough down his arm to merit it.
