Can’t ask for a better game for some of these guys to grab their chance in the team. I’m not 100% on the line up but that’s based on player performances under LJ so hopefully Monty can get these guys firing. Also we don’t know how fit Doidge, Youan etc truly are as well.

Happy to be in front but not a particularly enjoyable performance so far. Doing just enough to beat a very dour (*****) St Johnstone side. Agree that there are several players in the side not ideally suited to the way the manager wants to play.

Movement , passing and first touches been sloppy. The goal the one bit of real quality from Newell. Miller thriving under new manager.

Pretty much every top team in the world passes out from the back, as do most 'decent' teams. Its the way the games changed now, Scottish football has taken time to catch up and it seems the fans will take even longer.

Look at Brighton, they purposely slow it down with the CBs in order to draw a press and create gaps.

Boyle is on the receiving end far too often, and gets little protection from the refs.
