Totally agree - my only gripe though is that the Manager doesn’t seem to have addressed the ongoing danger from the left flank - reminds me of when the Huns took us apart at ER from the left wing.

Theres a massive disparity between the SPL and the EPL finacially obviously but there is that between the EPL and virtually every league. If Villa were away in say Finland, Albania, Bosnia etc etc would they be strolling around 4-0 in 50 minutes? I doubt it. Just because this was always going to be a near impossible task doesn’t hide that as of late, there’s something badly wrong at the club. Not one of the four goals has been a goal that any SPFL couldn’t score - whip the ball into the box, runner into the box, free header.

Similarly we’ve spent a lot of money and brought a lot of players in and are now desperately trying to offload them to anyone who would take them as the majority have been mince.
