It’s been one of our biggest issues for 18 months imo, the lack of an attacking midfielder to create.

Different managers have different failings - some are overly loyal to certain players, some are overly rigid, stubborn and one dimensional when it comes to playing a certain way.

If we were picking up enough results, Johnson would be praised for his creative thinking, for being flexible and able to improvise with what he’s got to meet the varied tasks in front of him.

Problem is, we’re not, and it’s sometimes hard to understand his logic. When it’s hard to understand logic, lottery accusations are almost inevitable.
